we were given a lovely room in one of the cottages in the grounds. I must say it was one of the nicest rooms we ever stayed in. It came with its own terrace complete with table and chairs. The woods were a mass of colourful cyclemen. The swimming pool which was heated was spotless. Food and service excellent. Not...

Stayed for one night in August en route to Carcasonne. A wonderful chateau in beautiful grounds. Enjoyed a swim in the heated pool on arrival. Drinks on the terrace were excellent and the view lovely. A superb meal in the restaurant made it an idyllic stay. Many thanks to the very helpful and friendly staff.

This is a lovely place. We felt pampered yet, at the same time, welcome. The service, the food and the attention to detail are all outstanding. In a building this beautiful, you can't help loving it. We stayed for two nights and had dinner the first night - one of the best meals we have had in France.

This hotel is fine but its just not nearly as fine as we expected it to be. When booking this hotel you get the impression you will be staying at a magical chateau, but that's just a lie. The chateau hosts the reception and restaurant, not the rooms. The rooms are all in a series of buildings 100 meters from...

My boyfriend and I spent 4 nights here in August. The chateau is gorgeous and the grounds are very well maintained. The location is excellent, as is the food (breakfast every day was lovely and the dinner in their restaurant was fantastic, with a great selection of local wines). I had two major issues with the stay: first, the air...

We stayed at this lovely hotel for 2 nights we had a beautiful room over looking the garden. At 6.30 we sat out in the court yard and enjoyed a chilled glass of champagne and complimentary nibbles. We were travelling back from San Sebastian Spain to Calais and decided to stop over near Tours to break the journey as it was half way. The hotel is fantastic and full of character. We would have gladly stayed 2-3 nights! All the rooms are modern and clean and brightly furnished. We stayed in the basic rooms which were more...

Stunning chateau set in beautiful surroundings , with a lovely pool. We had a lovely room outside of the chateau, very large with a huge bathroom. The restaurant was excellent, they even had a children's menu. Very friendly and helpful staff. Only negative was lots of mosquitos when we stayed, so couldn't have a drink in the terrace without being...

There are not many places where you can enjoy the fine things in life while traveling with small children. This is an excellent one. The pool is gorgeous and heated. The restaurant offers fine dining and a kids menu. The food is expensive but the quality is high. The terrain and the views from the terrace are beautiful. We had...

The approach to the hotel was magical, as there was a huge carpet of wild cyclamen under the trees as we went up the drive. Then we saw the chateau itself which is of the fairy-tale castle variety. The staff were unfailingly helpful and the restaurant excellent. Nothing is too much trouble.
