Two nights in conifer lodge. Lodge was spacious, clean and well equipped. Very peaceful and not far from Oban town. Views from lodge was amazing and some lovely walks around the site. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Will definitely be back.

We stayed at the end of January for my boyfriends surprise birthday treat. There was 6 of us and were in lodge 'conifer 7'. On arrival, the owners were very nice and the man showed us to our lodge. The lodge itself was great, and it had everything we needed. The rooms were good size and the beds were very...

Just home from a 3 day break at Lagnakeil and can't wait to go back for a return visit! The lodge (Ash6) was warm, well equipped and had a fantastic view down to the Loch! The lodge was spotless, the beds very comfortable and the shower was first class! Sadly the weather was horrific during our stay with hail, snow,...

My friend and I stayed in an Ash lodge at Lagnakiel for two nights. We received a very warm welcome from the owners and the accommodation was first class, furnished to a very high standard and spotless. Lagnakiel is situated in beautiful countryside five minutes from Oban, it's a fabulous place for a relaxing break and we will certainly be...

We booked for 7 days over a very wet and windy New Year taking our two dogs. It's not cheap this time of year but we wanted to take our dogs and are well accustomed to the wild Scottish winter weather. Bring plenty of warm clothes. Accommodation - There are 17 cabins located quite close together, small but cosy, no...

We stayed here for 2 nights at Hogmanay 2016, we loved the setting and friendly welcome we received from the manager Paul who showed us round. The lodges are well appointed and modern, spotlessly clean and an ideal base for exploring Oban and the local area. Great for couples and families. Sad to leave so soon but we will def...

We used this as a lodging when we travelled to Oban for a family get together. The lodge (Ash) was warm and cosy and well equipped. The grounds are well maintained and clean. A car is essential. Lagnakeil would make a fantastic base for exploring this lovely part of Scotland. Oban is only a short drive away and provides all...

Very comfy beds, 2 toilets in a 6 bed chalet (always useful) with beautiful views. Had the heating on and completely understand why this is charged extra. Some people will leave heating on full blast when they go out for the day without thought of the cost implication to the owners, as guests often used to do when abroad with...

Lagnakeil is in a truly beautiful part of Argyll, which is saying something because this part of the world is very pretty wherever you look. Every morning when opening the curtains we would see the view over the Loch and the surrounding hills. It was very quiet and peaceful, and our cabin soon felt like home. Some people commented on...

This was our second visit to Lagnakeil and we loved it just as much as the first. This time the view from both sides of the living room was perfect. I have read reviews from other people and I can understand some of the mild criticism but if you want luxurious furnishings, super fast wifi etc. then this isn't the...
