As soon as you reach the end of the driveway, you know you've arrived at a true hidden gem. We stayed in Red Kite Lodge for a short Christmas break away. The cottage was very clean with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing break away. A great nights sleep! Chris, Claire and Milo (great friendly dog) showed us...

Buzzards Watch in this wonderful place was a perfect place for a week's holiday away from the 'madding crowd'. We saw buzzards, red kites and baby seals and walked the Coastal Path every day. The weather was sunny and warm, even in October. Clare and Chris were perfect hosts, and the bara brith one of the best I've tasted.

On arrival the cottage Buzzards Watch (no dogs) lived up to its name as on cue a Buzzard flew down the valley!!! The quirky upside down layout worked well with outside table & chairs both in the garden & up on the balcony made the warm week extra long sitting out until dark. Inside very comfortable & with bonus of...

A real gem, off the beaten track and ideal to escape and wind down. I have never felt so relaxed or utterly knackered by doing do little! Clare is a master baker and Chris was on hand for any info, a chat. Our dog was equally exhausted from all new smells and experiences. Woodpecker Barn was well equipped and comfortable....

A brilliant place for a holiday. We stayed at Buzzards Watch cottage. Beautifully sited, the cottage is perfect for anyone who loves holidaying in the Welsh countryside. The area all around is stunning, whether going to the coast nearby, such as Mwnt, or enjoying the lovely countryside all around. Local pubs are good for food and there are plenty of...

This place is absolutely stunning. We booked a five night break whilst visiting family in nearby cardigan, and stayed in one of the four cottages available at Valley view cottages. From the outside the converted barn looks rustic and is set in beautiful Welsh country side where the flowing stream and resident sheep can be heard amongst the lovely silence...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Valley View cottages are 4 converted cottages set in the delightful and unspoilt rolling countryside of West Wales with far-reaching views over the surrounding hills, farmland, woodlands and the famous river Teifi Valley, renowned for its fishing and scenery. We are located in North Pembrokeshire down a private farm track off a quiet country lane. We are 3 miles from the picturesque village of Cenarth on the River Teifi, famous for its beautiful waterfalls. The towns of Cardigan and Newcastle Emlyn are 15 minutes away and the stunning sandy bay of Poppit Sands is just 20 minutes away. Our dog-friendly (except for Buzzards Watch), self-catering holiday cottages have been carefully renovated to a high standard from a traditional old stone barn, circa. 1800. They provide a tranquil retreat from the hustle and bustle of modern day living in an idyllic location, nestling in the Pembrokeshire countryside. The cottages provide superb accommodation for 1 - 6 people and are equipped for all year comfort, comprising modern fixtures/fittings and appliances, from a corkscrew to a dishwasher and full central heating. Each cottage has its own private enclosed garden with patio furniture and secure play area for children. All cottages have a fully fitted kitchen, which includes oven/hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and a washer/dryer. •Standard throughout are irons, hairdryers, vacuum cleaners, smoke detectors and fire extinguishers. Also, colour TVs with freeview, DVD player and we provide a DVD library. •All bedding, towels, electricity and heating are provided free of charge. •A stairgate, cot and highchair are available on request free of charge. A Valley View cottage is an excellent base for exploring West Wales, being close to the border of both Ceredigion (Cardiganshire) and Carmarthenshire. Sightseers - Walkers - Birdwatchers - Photographers - Artists - Beach lovers - Fisherman - Golfers - Horseriders - Cyclists - Canoeists. All will find plenty to do in the area. Equally for those who just want peace and quiet to relax in a tranquil setting, our holiday cottages can fit the bill. Some local attractions and places to visit include: •Preseli Hills •Cardigan Bay •River Teifi •Historic towns of Carmarthen and Haverfordwest •Nearest Shop - Boncath (5 mins) •Nearest pub - Newchapel (2 mins) •Nearest Town - Cardigan or Newcastle Emlyn (15 mins) One of the wonderful things about Valley View Cottages is its rural setting and beautiful surroundings.
