We spend Friday evening here, the pub is nice, friendly and the food was really good. There isn't a great deal of parking when the pub is busy like it was but managed to squeeze in, it's got a warm and friendly atmosphere, the staff were good. We both had the brie wedges and veggie burger, decent portion sizes and...

Hellidon is a great centre for walks through the rolling countryside of Northamptonshire and this would be an ideal place to stay. Friendly service and outside tables where it is possible to eat. Good choice of soft drinks. Recommended.

My husband and I came to eat here last night as we are staying at the Hellidon Lakes hotel round the corner. It was quiet when we came in however it got steadily busier as the night wore on, but this just made the pub cosier. The atmosphere was very welcoming and friendly and the gentleman who greeted us made...

All the staff (and customers) are really friendly, the food was excellent and it is probably the most dog friendly pub we have ever visited, It was our 3rd visit in 3 months and it certainly won't be our last.

We have eaten here a couple of times recently and have been disappointed both times. The food lacks seasoning and I am not a baby, I don't want my main course served to me in individual little dishes and pots. Nor do I want it on a wooden chopping board, I find this unhygienic and not nice, give me a...

This pub is great. We were staying in a hotel near by and fancied a change so booked a last min table for 8. The pub was busy so we were seated alone in the restaurant which was good for us as 8 woman can get a bit loud :) The staff were really friendly and the food was excellent,...

Lovely country pub with a nice, friendly atmosphere. Staff were very attenu. The food is decent, standard menu cooked well. Set in a lovely location in a small village but still had a bit of a buzz to it.

After a successful meeting and 10 pin bowling with my managing director I decided to head out to this local pub as I was staying at Hellidon Lakes. The decor of this spot is authentic and the pub is set in an extremely old building in the village. One indicator of it's age was the low doorways which became obvious...

“Not a good B and B from my one visit. My advice is to find a private homeowner who takes more care of guests and cleans there home better usually.”
