Ané and Nico were the best hosts, they made sure we had all we needed, but at the same time, we had privacy and the farm to ourselves.. Every single...

Florence Guest Farm is such a unique venue. We attended a wedding there and stayed over for one night in the tented camp. Although I am not the camping type, we were quite comfortable. We had electric blankets on our beds to ensure a warm night's sleep and the bathrooms we're comfortably close. I was surprised by the bathroom facilities....

What a wonderful and unique wedding venue. The boskerk is a place of beauty and a very special experience. The reception area is also very unique with its special farm style feel styling. The food served was by far the best I've had at a wedding or large function. The rooms were very clean and warm even though it was...

While the accommodation was good, there were a few problems - not enough hot water for bathing, too many lights on outside, so room was very light and difficult for sleeping. Farm animals, in particular the geese and cock made lots of noise in the night - also confused with the brightness - must have thought it was morning, as...

Hi, I am so sorry about your bad experience on our farm, however on a farm things are a bit different some times, love Ane.

We stayed only one night in the newly built accommodation which adjoins the main house. The room was very well equipped with an excellent shower and the drink making facilities were very good as well. There is no air conditioning in the room but we did not find this a problem. Insect repellent was on hand to spray the room...

WE happened upon this sanctuary after a distressing incident at the Swaziland Border! We had booked a special two night treat at a private game reserve in Swaziland and were driving straight down from Pilannesberg National Park. At the Swazi border we discovered to our horror my wife's passport was missing and no amount of pleading and searching through our...

Coming from st Lucia and on our way to Kruger we stayed a night on this beautifull farm. The owners have done everything possible to keep the rural atmosphere in tact. The cottage we stayed in was adorale ( bruidal suite). If we would mary again we would come here , have the ceremony in the forest and the party...

Visited Florence Guest Farm as a stopover on my way to the Kruger National Park area as part of a business trip on which my family accompanied me. Ideally situated along a rural highway outside a small town in the Lakes district of eastern South Africa, a nice days drive from Durban or half a day from Johannesburg. Lovely panoramic...

We spent one night at the Florence Guest Farm and it was truly amazing. The setting was just incredible looking out onto the lake. Ane and her husband Nico were amazing hosts, they made you feel right at home. A home cooked meal of babootjie was for supper in the evening. The cottage which we stayed in was just perfect....
