We stayed here for one night in early October and could not have been any happier with the accommodations in this lovely picturesque village. Located adjacent to the town square Hostellerie du Chateau is located close to everything in Eguisheim. The hotel was clean, comfortable, charming, updated, and owned operated by a wonderfully kind and accommodating couple. The breakfast offered... More

Eguisheim has been on my bucket list since reading about it in a travel review years ago. The hotel is beautiful from the exterior, and is an integral part of the half-timbered medieval buildings in the town's square. The couple who run this hotel are sweet, kind, and welcoming--- which is not always the case if you don't speak French... More

Our stay was a tale of two halves: On the one hand, the room we had was lovely with a nice view looking over the town square adjacent to the church. The room was not the largest but perfectly fine and had a tiny sitting room where we watched the nesting storks on top of the church spire. That part... More

We stayed here four nights, and enjoyed our visit in the entire area. The inn is well appointed, and the hosts very gracious. The breakfast each morning was well prepared and was enjoyable. We enjoyed walking into the nearby vineyards and hills. Very scenic countryside as well as the chateaus in the hills. Rooms were well appointed. My only caution... More

We spent one night in this beautiful hotel and were fully satisfied with the choice. The rooms are pretty decorated, spacious and clean. The hotel lies right in the center of this little village with a nice view on the village center with its big well. The breakfast was delicious and varied, with coffee or tea and eggs if desired.... We loved our stay at Hostellerie du Chateau. Located on Eguisheim's main Place, all of the charms of this beautiful city were just outside our door. The breakfast is a very good value--many fantastic jams, breads, croissants, meats and cheeses to enjoy. Wifi is a bit spotty, but we were satisfied with all other aspects of our stay.

The facilities are lovely, and the rooms well appointed. The breakfast was wonderful too. The couple who run it are pleasant as well. The challenge is that it is on the town square and it is noisy. How bad? I wore ear plugs and Bose noise cancelling headphones to circumvent a disco concert that lasted until 1 am. It was... More

This hotel is situated on a central square in one of the prettiest villages in France. The room was adequate with an affordable mini bar. Superbly quiet considering it's location. The owners are fantastic and the breakfast superb, all homemade preserves, fresh bread and meats, even fresh boiled eggs if required. Everything gets replenished as though by magic by a little... More
