We stayed at this hotel for a week in July. Our room, which overlooked the terrace and weir, was spacious, well laid out and spotlessly clean. Other reviews mentioned the noise of the water. I must say this did not bother us at all. In fact it was quite pleasant when the window was open but I inaudible at night...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Moulin de l'Abbaye - a wonderful location, within easy walking of everything. The hotel is in a beautiful setting and the breakfast on the terrace second to none. The staff at the hotel were very welcoming and friendly and most efficient. We will definitely return to this hotel and highly recommend it for...

Made to feel very welcome by everyone which is not always the case when you enter a lovely restaurant with a 2 year old. As it turned out we needn't have worried as there were other families there with young children, all having a relaxing time. Food great, service good. Really gorgeous views. The canoes that go pass periodically kept...

This hotel must be one of the most beautifully situated in Europe - so romantic and lovely. Brantome is just lovely. Wish we'd stayed one more night. Also, I wish we'd had dinner on the terrace rather than at Moulin du Roc in a nearby town (we got swayed by their Michelin star...not worth it). We did have drinks at...

Stayed here to celebrate my friend's 60th birthday. The staff were welcoming and friendly and marked the occasion with card, rose and strawberries in our room. We ate at the Fil d'Eau which is under the same management and had a super meal, beautifully cooked and presented with a complimentary apero to start to mark the birthday. Room was spacious...

We drove in this past Thursday from Bordeaux and what a place to end a fun day of adventure in the Dordogne region. Our extended family all had quaint rooms. We had a chance to have a drink on the outside terrace by the river. It was a great place to relax under the trees and hear the river flow...

We spent 6 nights in the hotel. Lovely hotel with nice romantic atmosphere. The staff is very friendly, nice and helpful. We got room no 8 in the main Building with huge balcony and private Jacuzzi. The dining in their restaurant was superb and unforgettable.

My wife and I stayed three nights in Room #4 in late April. It was a corner room with windows overlooking the Dronne River and gardens. Absolutely gorgeous. Safe parking in a cave! The staff were very friendly, courteous, and professional. The dining in their starred Michelin restaurant was superb and unforgettable. The only complaint was their WiFi service didn't...

If a total experience is what you crave, then look no further,....in fact, for the apex to a trip in France this has to be the ace. I think of it as mini- perfection. My femme likened it to the Venice of the Perigord,an ivy clad mill that's the most delightful in the Dordogne. look out across the grassed terrace to...

We spent one night at this quaint beautiful town. We chose this hotel because of its convenient location to walk everywhere we wanted to go, as well as its beautiful surroundings. The hotel is spread in 3 separate buildings which are quite different from each other in terms of location, age, and type of accommodation. We specifically requested a room...
