We have stayed at this B&B on three former occasions so, needless to say, we love it. Wendy and David are excellent hosts and could not be more friendly or helpful. The rooms are lovely with a shower or bath. There large veranda providing somewhere to "chill" and chat with the other guests and the garden is large and peaceful...

We had so many lovely memories of our first visit to Le Jardin exactly a year ago that we were in danger of setting up our second stay to fail. It was, however, if anything even better. Wendy and David have created something special here. They have an oasis (amazing rich bird song throughout the daylight hours) right in the...

this is a lovely b&b in a quiet leafy backstreet just a few minutes walk to the heart of Sarlat. We were greeted by Dave and within minutes we were sitting on their shady veranda with a welcome pot of tea. Wendy joined us and we sat and chatted like old friends. Our room was small but comfortable with nice...

My wife and I stayed at Le Jardin, Sarlat for four days and it was heavenly ! The owners, Wendy & David Prothero have created a jewel of a garden - hence the name - but the house itself is also a delight. Warm, intimate atmosphere, cosy residents' lounge, lovely bedrooms and great breakfasts. I highly recommend it !

They helped us with reservations and also gave us some tips and suggestions. David's maps of the area helped us, too. The room was delightful...

This is a great place to stay in Sarlat. Very close to the old city. Even better is the setting; a lovely house and garden, just 4 rooms, so nice to share with a small number of people. Even even better is the hospitality provided by Wendy and David, who go out of their way to help, provide recommendations, or...

My husband and I spent five nights at Le Jardin Sarlat in April. Our host David and hostess Wendy went out of their way to make us feel welcomed! The patio was our gathering place after sightseeing where we visited with other guests and David and Wendy. Our bedroom was comfortable and clean. Beautiful furnishings also. So much more like...

We are pulled again by the magnetic attraction of this wonderful place to stay. We're regulars most years as there's so much to see and do in the area. Le Jardin is so convenient as it's a short stroll to the medieval centre of Sarlat and also central to all that's best of the Dordogne. David and Wendy as ever...
