We wanted to stay in Sarlat itself and use it as a base for exploring the area. Based on positive reviews on Triadvisor, we chose Chris and Amanda Johnson's Les Cordeliers B & B. How perfect! The place is nicely located walking distance to anything in the old city....restaurants and churches. There is free parking a short distance from the...

We just stayed at Les Cordeliers. From the moment we arrived, Chris and Amanda were so helpful. Chris moved his car so we could unload our bags, he carried everything for us, and spent time showing us the sites to see. They provide complimentary coffee, snacks, wine, tea etc. 24/7. When I asked Chris about laundry, he said to just...

One of the best B&B's we've stayed. Beautifully decorated rooms, the breakfast is delicious, perfect location and the hosts, Amanda and Chris, took care of our every need. Only complaint is we had to leave this wonderful place. Look for their new place, Hotel DuPark, to open this fall.

Due to a booking mixup when we arrived the owner indicated he did not have our reservation. The Inn was completely empty so he offered to make us a room quickly. We appreciated that as it was late and we did not know where else to go. There are not taxis in Sarlat at night. None of the rooms were...
