This hotel is in the middle of town, convenient to train station, restaurants, shopping, everything. Parking is in a hotel garage a block from the hotel. The hotel has its own restaurant and a small bar and beverage area. Breakfast is great in the mornings. I always stay here when in this area.

I have stayed in this hotel many times over the last 10 years and would stay there anytime. It bis not a 5 star resort but is is priced well with a feel of historic France around every corner. It is pretty central to most anything in Chalon and easy access from the freeway.

Not the cheapest in Chalon but very pleased with service and cleanliness. The foyer and corridors are typical 1940s French but the room we had was very modern with excellent bathroom. Breakfast was pricey at 12 € especially when there were local cafés nearby. However I wouldn't hesitate to return.

This hotel was wonderful and close to the toen center, about a 10 minute walk. There were lots of places to eat including an awesome irish pub. The hotel staff are great however slightly limited on english speaking. The rooms are large with 12-13' ceilings and 10' tall doors that open to the outside. It is quiet and very historical....

Stayed one night on business trip. Not much to say really, I didn't find too many good 4 or 5 stars hotel in the area so this is probably as good as it gets. I slept well so no complains there, toilet and shower was fine too. The room is a little dated for a 4 star hotel but for...

Despite being a "chain" hotel, the St. Regis retains its French querkiness! The small lift encircled by the spiral staircase, the imaginative lighting in the bedrooms and the layers of window shutters meant that the stay here was a brief delight. Secure parking was easily accessible, although in a back street a little distance from the hotel. My sat. nav....

Lovely spacious room, clean, nicely decorated and very comfortable. Excellent value for money and was a great stop-over on our journey to the south of France. Did not eat in the hotel (although the dining room looked very nice) but ventured out onto the island where there was an abundance of little restaurants. Great place to visit.

I know that hotels in France are often a wee bit outdated, but this one really needs some improvement. The rooms have old carpets, floral deco everywhere, old shower curtains, ... please let someone breathe some new life into it! The staff is very helpfull and professional, the breakfast is good and everything is very clean. So a splash of...
