We opted for this hotel because of its location, close to the Route du Soleil and in the middle of town, close to restaurants, and most important a private parking space for our fully loaded car. When you want a parking space make sure to reserve it and be on time. There are only about 8 or 9 spaces available....

Dear Sir, Thank you for your comment that show you were hangry and not happy because of the parking. For your information we have 16 parking places and not 8 or 9. That sure, it is better to book it. But we have also parking places outside the hôtel and within 19 years I have been managing this hôtel, I...

We booked a "Chambre Confort Double" and were surprised by the small size of it. Basically only fitting a queen bed, two small night stands and a corridor. The rest is good: comfortable bathroom, majestuous staircase, delicious breakfast, with a good variety. The 24h check-in is definiely a plus. Check out at 11am is quite early.

Good location in centre of small city. Rooms are fine and the reception service very good. Secure private parking is a little tight as in many French hotels but is worth the small charge. Short walk to a range of places to eat. Would be happy to stay again.

The hotel is situated in the centre of the city. It has a good secure car park for customers use. Unfortunately we were in a van so could not take advantage of it. The evening we visited the bar was not open and the restaurant next door was closed too. Being a Sunday evening and the European Soccer final we...

We went for a drink in the bar at the Hotel De Bourgogne in Macon. The bar was okay, a little dark and not the most comfortable place to sit, but the drinks and service were okay. Unfortunately our experience was spoilt by a strong smell of smoke coming from a room behind the reception desk, where members of staff...

Booked this place as an stop over during our long travels in France. Price is good, centrally located, you have few steps and you are in the pedestrian shopping zone. Few minutes to the river promenade with some restaurants. Breakfast buffet is on a good french standard.

Dear Sir, Thank you for your comment. For your information, we invested this year 500 000 € and we plan to invest 700 000€ from december 2016 and march 2017 to end the full renovation of our Hotel. Unfortunately you were in a room not already renovated.. Best regards Patrick Chauveau

Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. The rooms are really small and very old - surely time to renovate. The breakfast was quite good: fresh orange juice, vairous ham types, pastery. The reception stuff is just terrible. They speak very limitied English but every time you come to reception and ask politely in simple English - can we please...

I don't know where to begin... from the price to the motion triggered lighting, the synthetic sheets. Brrrrr. I can not recommend this place. Our room had been refurbished recently with no common sense, LEDs everywhere that we had to cover with pillows to manage to sleep. I couldn't leave quick enough in the morning. It's fair to say I...

You would think a smile costs nothing but actually it has cost this hotel the loss of any future visits I may make. Neither staff on the desk (mother & son perhaps) welcomed me nor did they smile or say anything friendly either when I arrived or left. It's a shame as the hotel was clean, convenient & central. I...

The hotel is well situated at the top of old Maçon, with a courtyard at the back providing useful secure parking; a door closes it off completely from the road. The rooms are renovated, economically, but small. Breakfast is industrial, all laid out in small packages. During the night we last stayed there, we were woken at 2am by the...
