We stayed at Sereville for 3 nights for as "overflow housing" for a wedding at the nearby Chateau Vallery. It was perfect, we felt right at home from the start. Our room was large, lovely and had a private sitting room and bath. We had amazing breakfasts in the morning with croissants, tea, and the most amazing butter. We spent...

The peaceful surrounds of this little chateau (built 1820) was a blessing. We stayed a Saturday and Sunday night and met other delightful people at breakfast in the lovely dining room. Chateau de Sereville was like a home away from home. The goats and dogs were very friendly too. We walked around part of the grounds and the spring flowers...

We stayed here for one night on our way home it is the most delightful place with very helpful and hospitable owners Christian and Jean Marie. The house was beautifully decorated and the beds very comfortable. They could not have been more helpful when we had a problem with the car taking my partner to a nearby garage and into...

I visited this hidden house with friends who were staying there. Our vehicle is a large motorhome which would not pass through the tree lined driveway, a car would be fine. We were given a very warm welcome and space found for us to park and stay overnight in a meadow very near by. The house is lovely, furnished with...

We arrived tired in the late afternoon and were greeted by one of the owners Christian who immediately offered us a pot of tea and chatted to us in the Guests Lounge . He booked us a table...

The chateau and extensive grounds provide a wonderful rural ambiance and it's close to first rate restaurants in nearby Sens. Christian, who we mostly engaged with, was a gracious host and made us feel entirely comfortable. We stayed in a spacious and lovely upstairs suite with a large bathroom. The windows from our suite looked out toward the farm and...

Didn't stay there, but the mail repsonse on my inquiry was very unfriendly. Please be aware that this is not a hotel but a home were guests are received. "Too bad", there wasn't any vacancy. I doubt I will ever want to find out again.

Sorry Joachim, I don't speak German and I'm afraid you didn't translate correctly my answer, that was: Hello Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately all our rooms are booked on July 19th. Too bad. Maybe another time I hope. Best regards. "Too bad", in that context means: " it is a pity" and not anything unfriendly, on the contrary. Actually...

My wife and I stayed here for only one night before a business trip nearby. The location was out int he middle of the country on 100 acres of woods. There was a small pond and a little farm area with goats that you could visit as well. Overall the place was just relaxing. The owner was fantastic to talk...

“We stayed in the suite which was a complimentary 'upgrade' it was very spacious and comfortable but we had a peek at the bedrooms, which whilst smaller still were lovely and decorated with superb taste. The rooms at the front face the gardens and presumably are better for that.”
