We were just wrapping up week four of our six week European grand tour…and we were exhausted, and we were stopping in this little town to break up our drive to Paris. This hotel was just completely renovated, had a huge new bed and a 50 inch flatscreen SmartTv. We brought take-out back to the room and surfed YouTube while...

We have been traveling around Europe for six weeks and this was our favorite hotel of the entire trip. The room picture above needs to be updated as the rooms have been remodeled and modernized. I wish I had taken a picture to post.

The hotel is in a perfect condition. All seems just renovated with great and "clean" style. Light colours, woody and really luminous (sunlight). Altought the hotel has no kitchen, the breakfast buffet is well assorted. Additionally, the personnel is really attentive and helpfull... In summary: excellent hotel. Recommended!!

We stayed here on our last night in France before returning to U.K. The hotel is nothing to look at outside, but what a surprise once we stepped inside. We had booked the last double room available (a twin) but when we arrived the lovely, helpful receptionist told us there had been a cancellation, and offered us a superb double...

Refurbishment has not quite finished in all the details, but none of that even remotely disturbs your stay at this coolly designed inner-city hotel in Chalons-en-Champagne. Close to the city center yet no disturbing noise, five minutes to the good restaurants only. I like the outstanding style of the interior decoration, rarely do you see such cool use of the...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Pasteur Hotel is a delightful one on in many ways. Set in a former convent, its pièce de résistance is a superb ornate 17th century staircase. Its fortuitous position in the centre of the town means that guests are able to enjoy a range of gastronomic delights in nearby restaurants, less than 10 minutes’ walk away. The nearest, Le Petit Pasteur, which adjoins the hotel is highly recommended. In summer’s heat the hotel’s shaded terrace is a must. 28 comfortably-appointed bedrooms and off-road parking within the inner courtyard. The Pasteur Hotel is a charming traditional independent hotel ; it is not part of a hotel chain ... more   less
