Detailed Reviews
my experience was quite positive. The hotel's staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with any request and ensuring a comfortable stay. The location couldn't have been better, situated in the heart of paris, with easy access to nearby attractions and public transportation.
the only downside was the noise level from
neighboring rooms. Despite the hotel's efforts to provide a serene environment, the soundproofing seemed lacking, and I found myself frequently disturbed by noises from adjacent rooms. This detracted from an otherwise enjoyable stay.

Dear Peter Nady, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review following your stay at the Boris V Hotel. We are sorry to read that you were disturbed by the noise of your neighbors around your room. Indeed, I understand that you came to sleep in peace and quiet and I'm sorry about that. However, I'm delighted that you appreciated the kindness of our staff, who are always ready to help, and the hotel's location, which takes you to the heart of Paris in less than 10 minutes by metro. I wish you a safe trip back and a lovely day,

Great stay at this hotel. The people at the reception are very welcoming and respond to all requests (loan iron, request to access breakfast earlier at 6:30). Thank you so much!
The rooms are small but very well decorated and warm, it looks like a small cocoon. The bedding is excellent and there is everything you need for a good stay (courtesy tray, shower gel, hair dryer, safe...etc). Breakfast is very good, there is a sweet and savoury choice. Perfect for one night, in a very nice neighborhood!

Very good hotel a bit outside of the centre of Paris but with a metro at the end of the street meaning you can be in the centre in 15-20mins. Area felt very safe and pleasant with some nice local eateries and amenities. I've stayed in a Happy Culture hotel before and the staff are always very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. They even called a more central hotel to ask if we could leave our luggage there instead to save us going back to Boris before we departed Paris from Opera which was very convenient. Room was small but clean and comfortable. Only thing is the air conditioning unit was leaking so we had to leave it turned off which meant the room was very hot especially with the weather being particularly hot at the time. Noise from the street at night loud at times, mostly from motorbikes. Also you could hear other guests in their rooms i.e. when they turned on a tap or spoke loudly. Not a deal-breaker and for the price I think it offers good value for money for the budget conscious visitor.

Dear Jackson, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, your feedback goes a long way to improving the HappyCulture travel experience. I am pleased to see that you enjoyed the area of Levallois-Perret, the location of the hotel and our staff. However, we apologize for the noise that may have disturbed you during your stay, as well as the air conditioning that was leaking, our technicians are currently doing all the necessary maintenance on the air conditioning in the rooms so that this does not happen again. At Happyculture we do everything to ensure that our customers are happy during their travels. We look forward to seeing you again, Lynn, receptionist

I have been visiting this hotel after the positive reviews.
Not sure how many actually stayed in the room like i did, i like quirky hotels but there is bijoux and there is glorified shoebox.
Shame i was rubbish in PE as rollie pollie and hurdles could've come handy to get from one end of the room to the other instead of the ridiculous climbing over the bed.
Unless you are a small lady or very skinny man plastering your back against the backwall of the shower do not even try to shower as you will flood the room.
Very very limited storage place although i've only stayed for 2 nights with a very small luggage i've ended up storing things in the sink, in the shower and keep all moving them around when i had to use the bathroom.
No restaurant or bar in the hotel (there is a fridge downstairs with soft drinks, they might tell you that you do not have to pay for it but you do!) This makes it even worse that there is no fridge in the room, nevermind minibar.
Breakfast a bit claustrophobic in the basement and nothing special to write home about. 2nd morning i've ended up to go to the supermarket to fetch something satisfying ( and if a prepacked sandwich is nicer than the breakfast it tells a lot).
Service...again, wasnt overly impressed. The nicest person probably was the chambermaid, who was really lovely and took great pride in her work ( she deserves all the praise trying to clean these cubbieholes).

Hotel deserving 2 stars or even 3 but not 4!!!
Rooms with dated decor, and questionable cleaning,,,, we enjoy the noise from neighboring rooms,,, a big need for work at these prices!!!
The hotel focuses on communication and its entrance hall and that’s it
The worst is the breakfasts at 8:30 a.m. on a Saturday where the buffet remained empty, the staff is unpleasant and responds to everything to justify the lack and absence of bread and pastries…..
In short, tourist trap hotel…..

We arrived at the hotel after flying all night from USA and were told that we were not allowed to check in since we had small child with us. We booked hotel for 2 adults and per hotel staff small kids are free, however our room was only for two people, I still don’t understand what they meant by that. They told us they’re canceling our reservation and we had to find another hotel. We also had to rearrange our transportation since we already paid for it. It was nightmare. At least they could have offer us to stay for one night until we could find another hotel, instead we were stranded with a kid in the middle of Paris. Very unprofessional. We had to call Priceline and be on hold for 20 minutes to cancel it. While we were booking a different hotel and transportation they tried to offer a free candy to my kid as the kid was not sleeping all night during the flight.

Dear Mr Krinitskiy, You had a booking for 2 adults but you arrived at 3, with your child and you didn't mention your child on the booking. As we explained to you when you arrived, we don't have any room for 3. Once again, it is not because we didn't want to host you, but we cannot host 3 persons in a room for 2. First, this is the law : we have a "carton jaune" (yellow card) in Paris which stipulates the number of guests authorised in each room for security reason (in case of fire for example). Then, in the event of an inspection or police control, it would have been my responsability and my fault as hotel manager. These are the reasons why we proposed you to book a second room, as we had availability. Of course, we proposed some coffee or candies because we understood that it was a tricky situation and this is the way we work : we want our guests feel confortable at the Boris V Hotel. At last, we proposed you our help to find a new hotel with a room for 3, but you declined our assistance. Your 2 feedbacks on Google and on TripAdvisor are really unjustified because you made a mistake when you have booked a room, forgetting to mention your child, and you put the blame on the hotel by giving us very bad reviews. This is unfair. Best regards,

This hotel is one of the best I experienced. I went on a work trip and we were changing the dates of our stay a lot but the hotel were extremely accommodating, I am very grateful. It is themed after the great Boris Vian - really comfortable rooms, delicious and varied breakfast and very central location. Thank you!

Extremely small rooms for a 4 star hotel (aprox. 9 sqm) with a very small bathroom (aprox. 1,5 sqm).Because of this small size of the room we could not properly rest and could not enjoy our holiday.
No shower, only a curtain and because of this the water sometimes entered the room.
The window did not properly close.
Practically, all the other aspects like cleanness of the room, location or behavior of the employees were canceled because of the shock we had when we saw the size of the room and the bathroom.
Not to forget that we stayed in a 4 star hotel , without having fridge in our room.

Beautiful hotel!
Located in the suburbs, but everything is very close (the triumphal arch is 30 minutes on foot, the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower - 60 minutes on foot in beautiful places).
Nearby metro station and a 10-minute walk from RER.
The staff is super responsive and friendly.
Lived on the 6th floor with a beautiful view of Paris, even a piece of tower could be seen 😊.
The hotel has a delicious and hearty breakfast, the food is fresh.
Thank the hotel staff for everything ❤️

No. However, you can take the train from the airport into Paris (Chatelet les Halles), then switch to the RER A line and get a metro from CDG Etoile, green line 3 to Louise Michelle - the hotel is only a 2 minute walk.
We drove to Ebbsfleet for Eurostar and then traveled everywhere on the Metro or walked
