Our family (3 children 9,12,17) spent 3 weeks in Mas Pallares from late june and forward. The service we experienced from Lizzy, the lady who runs the place, was perfect. She helped us with all sorts of questions and advices. Mas Pallares is a big, beautiful stone house with a nice pool and garden. We spent the first 10 days...

We had a wonderful time at Mas Pallares in a beautiful setting, great outdoors experience and 45 minutes away from the beaches. he rooms are spacious and the house has several terrases overlooking the pool, gardens and mountains. The beautiful town of Ceret is only 10 minutes away and has a great art museum that you should not miss.

We stayed 3 weeks at Mas Palllares and could not have been more satisfied. It is a historic Catalan farm building that has been renovated to incorporate the old charm with modern conveniences. Our apartment, La Glycine was decorated with eclectic furnishings and bright colors, and included more than adequate supply of updated kitchenware, appliances and other. The beds were...

We stayed for a month. A very well appointed 2 bedroom suite, with 2 1/2 baths, a fine kitchen, an open balcony for morning coffee in the sun, a covered balcony to escape the heat or afternoon showers. We awoke every morning to the singing of birds in the lush garden. Walked to the local patisserie for a fresh baguette...

We stayed here as a last minute idea having noted it as a possible place to stay previously as we love Ceret which it is close by. Lizzy the owner is charming and friendly and the location is great. However the accommodation we stayed in was poor. The access to our accommodation was up a narrow spiral stair case and...

It is regrettable when guests are not completely satisfied. I try to ensure that my guests are happy and satisfied during their stay. When enquiries are made in advance then it is my practice to send a complete set of information with photos, clearly describing the various apartments, including details of individual access, private and communal areas etc. In this...

We stayed in La Cave for a week.It was very comfortable, spacious and cool when it was 30+C outside. We had everything we needed for self catering. There was a lovely large outside patio with dining table and deck chairs. The pool is wonderful and the garden beautiful. Mas Pallares is a little bit out of town so a car is needed...

My wife and I went to Mas Pallares after searching options in Ceret and discovering there were few available in the town. Just outside of Ceret there were more options, including Mas Pallares. We were intrigued by photos of the 500 year old Catalan farmhouse, especially by the wysteria falling gracefully from a trellace on the porch. The proprietor, Lilzzie,...

Our first stay at Mas Pallares was as Chambre d'hote guests for three nights only and was not pre-planned but we found it comfortable, tranquil and in such beautiful surroundings and Lizzie our host so helpful and friendly that we planned a return for one week in 2013. The self catering apartment at Mas Pallares which is about 5 minutes...

We stayed at Mas Pallares for a week. Accommodation was comfortable and cozy, in proprietor Lizzie's 17th century farmhouse complete with a pool and a welcoming garden. Charming Ceret is 15 minutes away. Lizzie was super welcoming and gave us some very good beach + restaurant ideas. Highly recommended!

We arrived at Mas Pallares after a lengthy journey with 2 young children. The lady of the house came to meet us and immediately started to tell us how tired she was and launched into a list of rules for our small apartment and the rest of the farmhouse. The apartment was clean, adequately equipped but our bedroom had a...
