The hotel entrance comes up on you real fast, so we had to go around the block to come back around and turn in. The house is huge and I can image it was a lovely estate manor at one time in its life. They do a good job of blending modern convince with historic preservation efforts. Our room was...

Nice hotel in great location for all amenities. Restaurant closed for August. Nice comfortable room but needed finishing off (expanding foam everywhere) with modern bathroom. Could have done with a shower screen. No staff at hotel at night.

Le Manoir des Ducs is an old fashioned hotel situated on the first floor - the ground floor being occupied by a Michelin one-star restaurant. The rooms are large and comfortable, but very old fashioned indeed and in some need of repair/refurbishment. The bathroom similarly needed updating. The rooms have a mini-bar and are clean. Breakfast is in the basement...

Although bit old and may use some touch up's room was nice, well decorated. Charming building in quiet location, still very close to the center and provided good lodging at decent price. Parking on property is a nice feature. Hotel and restaurant are not under same ownership. Restaurant rated separately.

I am amazed that an hotel with a Michelin starred restaurant lets you book an expensive room for the night when they know the restaurant is closed for the annual refurb and they don't mention this when you book. In addition every other good restaurant in Epinal is closed on Monday night. Hopeless and shameful communication.

Spent one night here while on business in the area. Got a large room, nice and clean and with a good bed. Breakfast was basic but ok. Interesting decor, furniture and room and floor layout makes it a nice change from impersonal business hotels.

We spent an overnight here on our way back to GB from Italy. We got a good deal on the room and it was terrific value with nice linens and soft furnishings. The bathroom in our room was excellent. Got stung with the breakfast which was poor at 15 euros each, but overall we felt we had good value. Just...

I will not suggest this hotel for a business trip. The building is affascinating but the service are more likely a bed and breakfast.. the internet does not work very well, the reception opens from 8-22 and when i came back at 16 nobody was There. The moquette has a smell of old and the staff was not able to...

The staff were very friendly, providing us with a cold platter when we arived tired and hungry at 10.30 pm. We loved the room and spent hours just lazing on the balcony, sunning ourselves, snoozing and watching Epinal stoll by. Breakfast was good with the exception of the terrible coffee. However: The breakfast hours were excellent 7 - 11 am...

Stayed overnight at Le Manoir on our way to Switzerland in June (2011). The restaurant was superb but the hotel was not in the same league at all. The restaurant and the hotel appear to be run as separate businesses, with the restaurant occupying the ground floor. The hotel seems to be the poor relation. We found the checking in...
