I really appreciated the modern appartments, but most of all, we liked the restaurant, with good food and wines. The package ( sleep and eat ) is highly recommended, the owners are very friendly. The environment was a bit new to us, however this area has fantastic lakes and woods, you can walk for days, although be careful, some GR...

I went to this nice place in the heights of Gerardmer with my lady and her mother. The place is nicely lost in the mountain, which offers the advantage of getting rides nin the woods beautiful and relaxing. Rooms are quiet and spacious with big bath rooms The tenders are very nice people carefully and gently looking after their customers....

Off the beaten track above Gerardmer but well worth the visit for delicious inexpensive food cooked by Michel. We followed them from their original hotel to this, which is their dream. The rooms are big, some with kitchens and large bathrooms to suit walkers and skiers. It is small, quiet, friendly and just the place to relax on the terrace...

The same high quality food on offer (see my previous review); the same professional team of Jocelyn, Michel and Sylvie; the same incredibly good value. They have added a lovely new wooden chalet-style suite which is a huge room and an adjoining twin room which can be booked together so ideal for a family. Lots of walking in the area...

My dog and I enjoyed a 3-night stay at this hotel. The hosts were very welcoming and spoke fluent English (Jocelyn). We had a room on the ground floor and each room has its own separate entrance which is a huge plus when traveling with a dog. The room was large and clean and surprisingly cool given the 30+ degree...

Auberge de La Poulciere was really a wonderful surprise. The rooms were very pretty and beautifully decorated, with an enormous bathroom with a bath and a huge shower. If one wanted to self cater there is a really well equiped kitchenette too. Very warm and friendly hosts and absolutely beautiful food of the higest standard anywhere and so reasonably priced too!...

during our Vespa Tour from Switzerland to England we stayed twice at this friendly place. Quiet nature, fine accomodation, a far above average cuisine and the friendliness of Michelle and Jocelyne made this a memorable waypoint in our travel.

We have stayed here a few times having followed Jocelyn and Michel from their previous hotel where we also stayed several times. The food is a huge draw - it is high quality and reasonably priced if you go for half-board. The ambience is relaxed and friendly with some lovely outside spaces. The rooms are simply but stylish decorated and...

La Poulciere was everything we could have wished for in terms of accommodation Michelle and Jocelyne are friendly and helpful hosts. The auberge is tastefully furnished, warm and welcoming. We booked in for bed, breakfast and evening dinner. [ Be aware there are no other restauarants nearby so to eat out somewhere else in the evening will involve you in...

Located at 5 mn from the town centre & at 2 km from the ski slopes, this charming small inn offers a very good comfort with its king size beds & its bathrooms with, both, bathtub and shower. At the restaurant, smart “megevane” atmosphere; stones & wood, lounge, libraries. Excellent cooking at soft price.
