The only reason for the missing star is due to the carpet showing a little of its age when we visited. Otherwise top-notch in every way - the bright, luminous room and the magnificent view; the clever closets hiding the tv and other things; and the large bathroom with amenities like the bar soap made especially for Bras. A complimentary...

A fantastic food destination. Ultimate art of cooking by the second generation of a family of world class chefs. Everything revolves around the culinary experience. Let the Bras take you through the trip they have designed for you, with modern meals yet biological ingredients, mostly local. People come from all over the world just to have a meal there! The...

Now an annual overnight trip for this 360 degree experience. The food and wine pairing exceeds our expectations each time, we certainly enjoy our 4 hours at the table not knowing exactly what will be served next by a very attentive and professional team. We love the bedroom views across the countryside and signposted walks after breakfast. Looking forward to...

My wife and I arrived full of anticipation after reading about this place and thought it would be another very special restaurant, but alas this was not to be. For a start, the accommodation is definitely not “Relais and Chateaux” standard, the rooms are spacious enough with wonderful views but no extras which should be mandatory. Shampoo and body wash...

The hotel is obviously there to accommodate diners at the restaurant, which it does with tremendous style. The enormous suites have wonderful panoramic views over the Aubrac plateau, best viewed from your very own terrace. No trouble has been spared to make the interiors equally splendid, a truly luxurious amount of space, works of art, peace and quiet. One small...

From the moment you arrive to the moment you depart (with an armful of complimentary gifts) you feel welcomed and pampered. The rooms are superb, with beautiful views across the French landscape and the town of Laguiole. The bathroom is large, modern and equipped with everything you could need, including handmade soaps and high quality toiletries. The minibar contains water,...

The accommodation is of course geared at providing the restaurant visitors with comfort and quiet before and after their expense multi-course meal at Bras. The hill side views are spectacular. There is a very nice forest 30 min hiking trail just behind the hotel with beautiful panoramas. The rooms are somewhat dysfunctional due to their fancy lay-out with lots of...

After reading some of the critical reviews on here we were very curious how Michel Bras developed since we stayed there last time 6 years ago. What shall I say, the place is still heaven on earth and over all these years feels still very fresh and unique. The staff is super friendly and they make you feel at home...

I was fortunate enough to stay in this adorable village (Laguiole) and dine at the 3 michelin star restaurant. I met Michel and his son Sebastien Bras who invited me to La Gardelle to pick wildflowers and herbs for the Gargouillou. The entire team at the restaurant were extremely welcoming, friendly, and always went out of their way to make...

We stayed here one night after making a detour to drive over the Millau bridge. The setting overlooking the countryside and the town of Laguiole is stunning. Even in April it was cool with piles of snow in the shady areas up the driveway. The large very modern room was sunny and beautiful. We had the cheapest and shortest menu...
