We stayed in one of the "fisherman's cottages", and really loved it! They are updated and restored little rooms with modern bathrooms, but still have a quaint, period aesthetic. These rooms are above the main road, so to reach ours, we had to climb up twisty, narrow stairways and wind through narrow alleyways, which we enjoyed, but that is something...

It really is an expensive hotel, rooms small but clean and with everything you need, you pay for where you are, but that was to be expected. I would not take it for a long stay but for a couple of days it is fine. The restaurant better not touch it, expensive and not very good. Note that if you...

The Auberge Saint-Pierre is located on the island of Mont. St. Michele itself. It is on the street that winds up to the monastery. This is a lovely hotel with Old World charm. The main part of the hotel is located not too far from the entrance. However, a number of the room are on other parts of the island,...

We enjoyed our room at the Auberge Saint-Pierre - it was located a short walk up the Mont (and up a good many stairs) from the reception area of the hotel. This is not a tourist destination or hotel for anyone with mobility impairment. The room was a little quirky - built partially into the rock of the Mont, with...

This place is wonderful. The front of the hotel is on the Grand Rue. The back of the hotel is on the ramparts. The restaurant is excellent. The beds are not great but they are typical for small older hotels. This place is historic and wonderfully maintained and updated. We were in room 106 and absolutely loved it!

Guess we should have realized... Had only been to the Mont as a day trip with all the thousands of other tourists... Why would we have expected the accommodations to be un-touristy and charming... But we did. Of course, being on the Mont for two nights gave us the chance for early morning and late afternoon/evening strolls without the crush...

From the moment you arrive this hotel opens it arms to make you feel welcome. Our room was spectacular(416) the views and the little balcony were beyond words. We had reserved the breakfast and dinner package and it was well worth the additional cost. The dinner was from the higher priced side of the menu and was delicious, and the...

We were happy with our choice to stay in Mont-Saint-Michel a night, as we arrived early but could duck out of the crowds and heat for a bit. We stayed in a bay view room, and enjoyed the sand view in the afternoon and the bay view in the morning. It was so convenient to pop out to look at...

Great place to stay for a night to experience the privacy and beat the crowds at the mount and abbey. We loved the entire experience. And the hotel contributed to that. The Beds could have been a bit more comfortable. The rooms might be too small for some North American travellers. None of this impacted our enjoyment and it probably...

If you really want to experience Mont Saint Michel, you must stay on the island overnight, after the crowds have gone. Auberge Saint-Pierre is a great place to stay to accomplish this. They were attentive to our needs and we had a lovely room with a little patio that overlooked the city.
