This hotel had lots of positives: great location, charming rooms, wonderful view of the Abbey from the room, nice bathroom. The negatives: 5-story climb on spiral staircase to our room, no free WiFi, very small room which was cramped. Loved hearing the bells ringing!

We were very excited to stay "on the Mont"...true to our expectations staying there overnight was incredible...no crowds, island to yourself, excellent photos, etc etc...however, the hotel leaves much to be desired. The bathroom was literally like one in a mobile home or RV. The room also smelled of urine and we opened the windows to get some fresh air....

When visiting Mont St Michel, you must stay over night to see the lights and enjoy the crowdless time. It is a mess after 11 am so get out as all the "tourist buses etc are arriving " We stayed at the Auberge Saint Pierre, were assigned a room not in the actual hotel but turned out to be much...

Evidently the Auberge Saint Pierre is more than one hotel. Several members of our party were taken lto odging a little higher up and were not happy. We stayed a few doors down from the reception office in the Croix Blanc. The room was very tiny but spotless, with a modern bathroom and was very nicely decorated. Staying on the...

We stayed here in room 416 in September ( a Monday night ). The Mont itself is spectacular, but the crowds, even on a weekday are horrendous. We had arrived as day trippers but decided to see if we could stay overnight to view the cathedral (?) the following morning. Found this room entirely by luck, it is halfway up...

Hotel is pricey!. We stay there for a night, in the end of last September! Room was at another building, five minutes from the hotel, and was very small, but with a beautiful patio, with a nice bay view. Breakfast was bad and too much expensive, as almost everything in Mont St.Michel. I would not stay there again, and would...

As we left booking our hotel to the last minute, we could only book a 4 single (family) bedroom and we are a married couple. This turned out to be beneficial as our room had more living space and the beds pushed together to made a pseudo double. The receptionist was pleasant and she gave us an overview of the...

We debated about whether to spend the money to stay on the Mont and are so glad we did. The traffic, congestion, and ugliness off the Mont are not to be believed, and staying overnight on site gives you a chance to see the Mont without all the crowds and enjoy a wonderful sunrise as the tide shifts. The Auberge...

We spent two nights at the Auberge Saint Pierre on Mont Saint-Michel at the height of the tourist season. Expect huge crowds! We could barely battle our way to the hotel on Grande Rue because of all the people! When we arrived though we found an oasis of calm - a charming hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Make sure...

This suite was not part of the main hotel, but in a different building further up the mont, and much away from the main street. It was the top floor, and had limited views, but was newly renovated (bathroom, wc, rooms, etc.,), clean, and had modern amenities. It exceeded our expectations, and we had a great stay there. The reception...
