I stayed on the weekend of the 15th August holiday and had had extreme difficulty finding a place to stay. There were 6 vacant rooms in this establishment, which perhaps says something about it. I could not fault the female receptionist who was polite and welcoming as well as able to speak excellent English. The room was basic but clean...

Room cleaned every day to a good standard. Basic but everything you need apart from a safe for your valuables. Restaurant with limited choice but also clean and tidy. Stayed for 3 nights and would do so again, good value for money. Staff very helpful and friendly.

We stayed in the Campanile after travelling back towards Calais. We arrived well after the check in time (7pm) to find the room hadn't been cleaned. When the man at reception was told, he got his manager who refused to swap the room and started stripping the bed whilst I stood there, luggage in hand dying to get in to...

I was in LFB for a business trip and stayed in this hotel. You do not have much choice as this is one of the only 2 places available. The rooms are decent. However, a big minus for me is the wifi service. Though complimentary, the connections were iffy at best with frequent drops and slow connections. That ruined the...

We try and stay here every year when we visit the Le Mans 24 hours. The staff are always happy to see us and are friendly and attentive. The restaurant is clean and tidy and the food is cooked properly and tastes great! (save room for all the little deserts!!!) The rooms are also clean and tidy and breakfast is...

A little off the main tracks but if, like us you travel down regularly and try to avoid those "French tolls" this is a good find particularly if travelling with dogs as the " dog walk " on this occasion is a huge lake ( complete with its own sandy beach ) and the old town too is well worth...

Stayed one night on 12th. June with my wife and grandson. The welcome was excellent and very friendly. The room was perfectly prepared, very clean, no trace of dust or marks. Outside the lawns ,bushes and hedges well maintained as were generally the buildings. Dinner was very good with very attentive staff who were happy to let my very young...

We arrived mid afternoon ,welcomed by a very helpful lady who sorted us out in seconds. We were on the second floor ,the room was clean but bland. The shower head was a bit loose so it had to be treated very carefully or it fell on you,now big deal but annoying.WE stayed for four days as a prolonged stop over on...

The hotel is clean but there is no soap supplied in the rooms, there is no minibar but the rooms are fine for one night. As for the restaurant we had breakfast there and it was a rip-off at 9.50 euros, not too much choice all cold and cheap food. We wouldn’t stay there again.

CONs: The entrance in the rooms is tight, there are two doors one next to the other. The rooms are small. There is no mini bar. The heating system is manual. There is no soap for washing hands, there is just shower gel+shampoo hanging on the wall (there was in the past). The breakfast is very poor, if you stay...
