Not a four stars hotel. Staff can’t be bothered. Cleaners can’t be bothered. Swimming pool very green and dirty. No one bothers here. We had three people in our room. Two set of towels. Paper cups instead of mugs, one small bottle of waters shared between us for two nights. Cleaner came in stroke the bed but didn’t clean the bathroom at all. Really a run down place.
AC system very noisy in our room. Breakfast buffet poor. No electrical output car chargers. Old fashioned hotel in a limited services area away from walking distance activities or convenience stores. Could be better for the only 4 stars hotel in Saint Nazaire !
Stayed in this hotel for business and needed to stay two days longer as previous foreseen. According desk lady hotel was fully booked and additional stay not possible. After checking some bookingssites there were options and could extend the stay with the additional days. After a friendly reminder at the desk bout these options, there was no answer what made sense. Also it seems the cleaning lady is not vaccinated at all. I was very surpised and not comfertable with the idea she was all over the place ..... Not very happy with the situation at all! Not worth the 4 star rating.
The building structure, bathrooms and amenities do not justify the 4stars. Agreeably decorated rooms with comfortable beds. Good for one night only. The restaurant personnel was extremely rude. One of the grilled steaks was scorched and was replaced by another but the waiter kept on insisting that scorched was grilled.
Stay in there for quarantine for 5 days. One of the worst hotels I ever been in my life.Wifi is very low.Food is terrible.Nobody clean my room for 3 days.Never suggest anybody to stay there.21st century people flying to the moon and they can’t provide a normal internet
Dirty room: uncleaned room at our arrival. Dirty WC Dirty bathroom. Animal hairs in the carpet. Dirty restaurant: leftover food on the chairs. No désinfection White we are in covid period Hôtel not wothy of a four stars.
I live less than 2 miles from the Aquilon and I drive by it almost everyday and I always thought it was just another motel, situated alongside a gigantic roundabout with more than a dozen car dealership within a 500 meter radius. As we had some guests I did not really appreciate, I decided to spend a couple nights at the hotel and I was very pleasantly surprised. The hotel is really nice, the pool area is very pleasant and pretty quiet despite the cars driving by on the roundabout. You can have your meals next to the pool. Food is nice and staff very helpful. I will definitely comeback and I strongly recommend the hotel. Dogs are welcome. Too bad there is a huge billboard overlooking the poll, but then again the hotel has to advertise and there had been no billboard I might not have discovered it and stayed there....…
It’s got to be the best hotel in the area. It’s now a 4**** The food and wine is outstanding and reasonably priced. The staff are very warm and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We went for my birthday and the hotel gave me a beautiful bouquet of long stem red roses and champagne. In the evenings they provide entertainment several times a week, singing and dancing. My husband and I both have walking difficulties. They have 3 rooms catering for the handicapped. They are spacious and the one we had has a large wet room. The lounge and the restaurant are beautifully decorated. The hotel is spotlessly clean. There is a swimming pool and a terrace where you can sit outside and eat and drink or just sit in the sun loungers around the pool. There is plenty of free parking spaces and 2 for the disabled. Within easy reach there are numerous sandy beaches. St. Marc and Porce beaches have level access for the disabled. Lots of markets in the area. St. Nazaire is a beautiful place with lots of history. The Grande Briere is a beautiful nature reserve where you can go on a carriage ride, go on a boat ride on the canals or have a lovely meal at the Breca Restaurant. In St. Nazaire they have turned the wartime U-Boat Pens into a museum with a U-Boat the Espondon. Go and stay at the Hotel AQUILON and visit all the interesting places in and around St. Nazaire. …
Stayed at the hotel for 1 night as it was close to a business I was meeting with the next day. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Room rates were ok. Facilities are pretty good. Restaurant was OK but could have been a little better. Overall the rooms are ok but are dated with the separate toilet rooms being very dated. Overall the stay was OK bit for the rating of the hotel it should have been better than OK.
Good hotel, near all the access roads. Room was big for normal room, bed was really nice. Best part was that hotel restaurant was open all the way 2130, so after long work day you could eat without leaving hotel
