We stayed in this hotel from August 2 - 10, and what a fine experience it was. The couple who owned the hotel was very friendly and helpful, always greeted us with a smile. The man even carried our very heavy suitcases upstairs at the beginning of our stay and downstairs at the end of the stay. The rooms were spacious enough and cleaned well each day. The hotel was very conveniently located. Very close to the train station. Walkable to the wonderful bakery and walkable to the beach. It was close to some nice restaurants including a pizzeria almost across the street. The present owners are selling this hotel in September. I do hope the new owners will maintain this kind of excellence!
If you are in this region, TAKE THIS HOTEL !!!! Very friendly people and breakfast was very good. If we are in the region we sure go back to this hotel. Never meet so friendly poeple like the oners of this hotel
Hotel traditional style just off sea-front & overlooking the central square. Room very nice.and very clean. Good facilities. Breakfast simple and nice with good coffee. Locally the hotel is very close to the sea front and great beach and Harbour. Local restaurants are plentiful and next to hotel is famous Le Bidule Cave which is famous for the tipple it sells. Very good too. Also close by nearby salt pans and other places of interest make this hotel a good base to stay to travel the local areas.
Very friendly and professional couple managing this small and yet very comfortable hotel. Same as on the pictures. No bad surprise. Couple de professionnels très sympathique gérant ce petit hôtel de bord de mer très cosy. Très conforme aux photos. Aucune mauvaise surprise durant mon court séjour.
Good, clean, small, hotel with imaginative decorated room and en-suite. Comfortable, overlooking town square. Far better value than sea front hotels. Tucked away in between a restaurant and a bar, but quiet after 10pm 'ish. Plenty of restaurants nearby including a really good Thai.
The Room as nicely decorated, facing onto main street, wine cave's next door very noisy until 10 O.clock when it closed, lovely patio area to sit in, but again overlooking the wine cave (very noisy) the restaurant was next door to hotel, but dont think it was belonging to hotel as we were asked to pay after eating and couldnt put it on our bill. The meal was good, but unfortunately an elderly couple in corner and the lady was obviously not well as she kept being sick at the table but still continued to sit there and drink, which put us off our meal, and spoilt our eveing but that as no fault of the hotel.
