We went for a three-night stay in a holiday flat in Ker Juliette. We had a very comfortable time. People at the reception were friendly, efficient and helpful. The flat was clean, warm and quiet. There were good toilet and kitchen facilities and it was tastefully decorated. It would be ideal if there was a doormat in or outside the flat. We also had to ask for a hair-dryer; though the reception was closed during the weekened, somebody came to deliver the hair dryer on Saturday morning. I suggest that this should be included in the flat. Ker Juliette was situated in its own park and very near the coast. We could reach the coastal path in a few minutes on foot. We went for long walks on the coast in the afternoons. There were also bakeries, pharmacies and a supermarket near the site. All in all, a nicely-situated site run by friendly and competent people on a pretty part of the Brittany coast. …
Stay for two nights on a work trip in one of the apartments and found it basic with limited facilities. The WiFi didn't work in the apartments, I had to sit in reception to get coverage, not ideal! It is more suited to families on holiday who need space.
I stayed for three nights in the holiday flats of Ker Juliette (they also have hotel rooms). The flat consisted of a sitting room, a bedroom, a fully-equiped kitchen, toilet and bathroom with shower and bath. It was clean, warm and quiet. If I opened the French windows, I could hear the waves. Another friend stayed in a similar flat opposite. It was very easy to take long walks on the Brittany coast, so we walked from the hotel to St Nazaire and had a great day. The hotel was also well situated for shops. We bought food from the local supermarket and cooked in the kitchen in the flat. All in all, a comfortable place for a relaxing holiday. And the price was incredibly reasonable.
The was more like an American condo than a hotel. It was so refreshing to be able to take a hot bath in the large tub after driving all day. It is a quick walk to the beach. Unfortunately for us, it stormed the whole time we were there. Lovely grounds and accommodation. Free WiFi only works in the lobby, not in your room.
What a lovely place! We stayed in one of the apartments. It was suitable for 5 but there was only two of us. We found it spacious, comfortable and absolutely spotlessly clean. All the staff were very helpful and friendly with a natural ease that made you feel calm and relaxed. When I say all, I mean all. The reception staff, the cleaning staff, the restaurant staff were excellent. If I had to single anyone out, I would say that Marine who was our waitress when we dined at the restaurant was superb. She was very efficient, but charming and seemed to have a genuine concern for our well-being. With regard to the restaurant, the food was excellent. We opted for the 'menu du jour' which had a good selection. The portions were much bigger than I expected and it was very tasty. The setting for the 'domaine' was lovely; set in its own grounds just a very short walk from the beach, it was lovely. There are several beautiful beaches nearby and a coastal path. It is a fair walk into Pornichet itself, but there are plenty of taxis. We walked in and then got a taxi back. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely book there again.…
myself & the gang stayed here for 2 weeks. we were very lucky with the weather & the services provided by Ker-Juliette was certainly a big bonus. the plus: - staff courtesy - 200 mtrs from the beach -nice pool - the accomodation was very clean & adequate the minus: - no wifi available in accomodation ( only in public areas) - the sofa bed was out-of-service & was never fixed despite my request on day 2 ( which resulted of my two sons sleeping togheter.. overall fantastic stay with only minor issues which explain the rating. will be back for more.
This is a nice 3 star hotel - nothing fancy, but everything you need for a comfortable stay. This is the second year we have been and we would go again. The food is VERY good :-) The pool is a good temperature and big enough to mess about in and the beach is just a few minutes walk!
My wife and I Along with another couple stayed two nights in a ground floor apartment. The apartment was good and clean. There was a double bed room and a smaller room with a double bunk. The bunks were OK but the room needed some where to put thing like a shelf near the head end. Shame because there was a cupboard with door out into the lounge that could have been designed better to give storage for the bunk room. There was a TV but only French. Kitchen area and lounge was good, as was the table and chairs outside. There was an excellent swimming pool and a sauna that we made good use of. The reception ladies were polite, helpful and spoke English. There was WIFI in the reception.
We stayed in an modern apartment very clean comfortable bed with a lovely balcony. Secure as coded outer door.Within walking distance to the beach. We didn't eat the hotel as the reviews said it was a long wait for food and there was a wedding party saying the weekend we were there but we ate a two local restaurants which were within walking distance and they were excellent.
We were really mislead by the nice pictures of the brochure that make believe the hotel is the castle you see on the photo's with a nice pool. In reality the hotel is a separate building with different residences and you have the feeling to be in a camping! At the pool they have installed 250 long chairs so that you can touch your neighboor whereas the brochure leads to think that you are in a quite isolated atmosphere. Really annoyed by this type of commercial practice! total for 2 nights: 280 euros to sleep in an awfull building, a room without curtains and view on the campers in the building 3 meters across. No airco, empty minibar, old fashion decoration and very small - 2 square meter bathroom.
