Stayed one night, although clean, the rooms were very small and in need of a update. Bed was comfortable no tea and coffee facilities. We ordered breakfast in our room it never arrived so had to ring reception. Very basic. OK for an overnight stay.

Very clean, friendly efficient staff. Had trouble opening and closing room door. Small room but sufficient for overnight stop off. Nothing hot for breakfast which was disappointing....only one cold boiled egg in the serving dish and a few slices of cold ham, plenty of cheese.

We arrived late and stayed here waiting for the ferry next morning. Whilst we were tired after a long drive, it was still very apparent that this hotel is old, tired and if it were a horse would have been put down years ago. Really unwelcoming but did the job, however I will never stay here again.

An old style but clean and comfortable hotel that reminds of Inspector Perot (quite formal but not stuffy). We were given a very large room with old furnishings (not worn) which was quite quaint, but clean and nicely presented. The breakfast was a starched tablecloth and silverware affair with a good range of good food. The staff were well trained...

Booked for one night as it is close to the tunnel. Stayed for about 30 mins before making excuses and finding other hotel. First impressions ok, receptionist friendly and efficient. Parking on site is a bonus. However, rooms are small although clean. Bathroom is traditional French, no fixed shower. Suit small person because toilet is very close to the wall...

Bathroom - shower could not be used overhead - requires bracket to hold shower head above head height as it is a little difficult to use for older persons like myself by standing in a bath with no grab handles or anti slip mat. Large old fashioned radiators (I appreciate it is an older building) but this could be updated...

This is a Budget hotel with rooms that have no frills. However it was clean & very centrally located within the town area surrounded by very nice parks, shops & facilities that the town has to offer. Ideal for the beach, Euro Star & shopping at Cite Europe. There is on site garage parking - chargeable, although free street parking...

We travelled on the euro tunnel on Friday and stayed at the Metropol hotel for 2 nights. The hotel room was clean and tidy ad the bar area although small was well stocked. The hotel staff were attentive and we're happy to sort out any queries. Breakfast was home made bacon and eggs which served its purpose. The hotel was...

Nice enough, clean, bit tired used to be smoked in the corridors. Rooms a bit warm. But bed was large and comfortable. Saying that Staff were really helpful. Nice and quiet. Easy parking and it's free.

It's a bit dark and smells old. Not a place I would choose to stay but was selected from the Internet as was close to the ferry. Alright for an overnight stop is you're not too picky and reasonably priced. The bed was comfortable and clean. Bathroom abut dated but reasonable. Free wi-fi. Not much more you can say really.
