Perfect location, charming area, lovely home, great views, The calanques are stunning, and an easy walk away. The city is also beautiful, fun, with many activities. Valerie is charming, helpful, attentive.

We loved this B&B. We stayed for 3 nights in La Belvédère, which I would highly recommend, with its beautiful view over Cap Canaille through the arched window, and its romantic 'bath corner' (don't worry, the toilet has its own door). Valérie is a super friendly, genuine and down-to-earth person who was extremely helpful with her advice and tips about...

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay at L'escale in Cassis. The B&B is in a great location- a scenic 15 minute walk to town, adjacent to a picturesque rock-outcrop beach, and within a 5 minute walk to the Calanques trail head. There are many convenient parking lots in Cassis should you choose the quick drive over the walk. There...

We had the most amazing time in Cassis and our stay at L'Escale was simply wonderful. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choices, beautifully prepared. Valérie made us feel very welcomed and was truly a perfect hostess. She provided us with maps, guide book, restaurant suggestions, winery suggestions and even winter jackets and sunglasses when we couldn't find our...

Fantastic two weeks spent at L'Escale. Wonderful room with terrace. Les Arcades. Super breakfast, lots of choice, beautifully prepaired. Our dog an English Bulldog was made very welcome and free of charge. Valérie made us very welcome, a perfect hostess. My wife and I will be returning for ten days this summer. The views from the house are spectacular. Private...

Madam Valerie and Monsiur Jules are so helpful and kind, and the room was nice and clean with a beautiful view of the sea and Le cap Caneille. We were so pleased with the room, the breakfast and the location (about 10 minutes walk to the harbour and 5 to the calanques). Madam Valerie gave us a map and poited...

Cassis is a great spot and the house is really in a nice location on top of a "rochelle blanche". The house is within 15 min walking distance to the harbour (shops, restaurants, cafes) and 5 min walking distance to the entrances of the calanques. Right underneath the house (very steep trail) is a nudist / gay "beach", which is...

My wife and I ended our driving tour of Provence with a stay at Valeries and Jules B&B. Our stay was in May 2013 and we stayed in the Belvedere Chambre. First of all I must encourage everyone to visit Cassis. It is a beautiful escape if you are looking to get away from the city and experience good restaurants,...

We had a fantastic time at L'Escale! The owners are wonderfully welcoming and go above and beyond. Our room (La Colonel) was spacious with a funky mix of Asian and modern furniture, very clean and with its own patio. Julien's breakfasts were sumptuous and Valerie was so helpful with suggestions during our stay. We enjoyed quite a few aperitifs (sipping...

I stayed in this charming B&B in September 2012 for three nights. I had a great stay. First, the owners very kindly picked me up from the train station in Cassis - incidentally, if you are arriving by train and the owners can't pick you up, make sure you arrange a taxi (I didn't see a taxi rank outside the...
