Something has gone wrong at this hotel, which seems like it might once have been nice, but is now ill cared for. Do not stay here until it has changed management and/or owners since the date of our stay, November 2016. Where to start? It is not situated on the water, but is across the street. From our terrace there...

Room 1 is amazing, comfortable, perfect bed, good bathroom, balcony with a stunning view of the bay. Room 3 is gorgeous, stylish decor in both rooms. Host is very friendly and gave superb restaurant recommendations. All staff are helpful. Breakfast here is fantastic. Definitely will return A++++++++++++++++++

We arrived at the hotel to find the tariff we were paying through a booking agency was twice the amount they were charging people coming in off the street. That was off-putting but they said they had to pay a fee to the booking agency. The hotel itself was quirky, small rooms, even smaller bathrooms. The staff were delightful and...

While the hotel is nicely located and the staff is very friendly and helpful there are many surprises. To begin there is no signage at the hotel entrance, no lift (and all rooms are on 1st or 2nd floor) and the bathrooms are very oddly located and cramped. Theres enough space outside the rooms as each floor has a common...

We came to the Jardin d'Emile over a decade ago and were pleased to return. The positives are that the hotel is in a wonderful position, with (from room 1 - which I would recommend) a superb view over the beach and across the bay to the Cap Canaille which is spectacular. There is easy walking access into the charming...

We liked the "cute" style of the hotel as it now is and the staff were all really nice. Our room was small (6) but it had a balcony overlooking the beach. Room 1 is larger and has a large bacony. The problem is that I imagine the hotel is a shadow of its former self; the restaurant is closed...

I normally don't give bad reviews but my husband and I are away at the moment and I just asked him which of all the hotels we have stayed in this year was the worst and we both agreed this one. Dead plants, rude staff, double bed against a wall and dubious plumbing and it smelt so bad they had...

We spent 4 nights here as a result of reading the good tripadvisor reviews (and ignoring one bad one). It is noticeable that a lot of Americans stay here and clearly like the authentic Provencal experience - it is a more authentic experience than staying in a modern hotel such as the one next door which is under the same...

I stayed here one night with my boyfriend and it was a perfect place in Cassis to stay! It was right across the beach with easy access to the hikes for the calanques - couldn't have asked for a better spot!

We loved our stay at Jardin d'Emile! We visited during our honeymoon and this was the perfect location for us to have both an adventurous day in the calanques and a mellow day cruising the town and lounging in the sun. We woke up late for breakfast both days and they were nice enough to serve us breakfast in their...
