The best thing about this hotel is its location -- right on the beach, with easy access to the start of the Calanques hikes. About a 5 minute walk away from the quai at the center of town. The hotel itself charming, if nothing to write home about. The rooms are decent -- we had the triple -- clean and...

This hotel is located right next to the sea with friendly staff at the reception. There are only six rooms. Although the rooms are really tiny they are nicely decorated and you will find a comfortable bed. The staff at the bar/restaurant was really unfriendly and we preferred to have lunch and dinner in town.

Loaded with charm, great location, great value, and service, service, service. We had a great stay the first of Oct. Veronique and Franswa saw to our every need. Food was excellent. Across the street and from our window, the Med. Cassis and the hotel were an unexpected jewels. Go to Cassis and stay at Jardin d' Emile.

Don't believe the photos...this is a ramshackled establishment. The most expensive room is actually the third floor attic, and the host didn't even offer to help with the baggage up 3 curving stairwells. The room was dark and dingey, and the shower is so tiny, one would have to walk in sideways. We booked 5 nights, paid for one and...

We have mixed feelings about this hotel... It had several very strong points and a few weak points. The location was great - right across from the beach and a short up/downhill walk to the old town and the restaurant/cafe scene. The room itself was huge, comfortable, had a great view, but wasn't very clean and needed some work. Parking...

Pros: Location, free and secure parking (in a town where it is almost impossible to find a park), nice breakfast served in your room, if you wish. Air conditioning. Clean and quirky. Loved the balcony overlooking the beach. Quiet. And did I say free parking???? Frig in the room. Supply of beach towels. Staff were friendly and helpful. Cons: We...

Charming hotel overlooking Bestau beach. We stayed in room 5 which though small is clean and comfortable with a balcony where you can take breakfast. We found the breakfast large enough to share between 2. Air conditioning was effective. Decor starting to look a bit tired. The staff were excellent. Cassis was very busy so it was useful to have...

Agree with previous comments - simple facilities but charming characterful hotel in good location, short walk to town and easy parking BUT - misleading description in that website clearly suggests that the hotel includes use of the Same Same beach bar and terrace opposite, with pictures and comment "Come on and Relax with our private terrace facing the beach". We...

This hotel was ideally located, just across the road from the beach and a few minutes walk from the beautiful harbour in Cassis. We had a large terrace with a full sea view. Although the room was a little old it was very clean and comfortable. In addition it was extremely convenient to have private parking at the hotel. Considering...

Although our room and bathroom were small, #2, it had a wonderfully comfortable bed and a nice side view to the sea. We could hear the waves at night. The place has a rustic charm. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was good, although at 12 Euros somewhat pricey. We enjoyed the short walk to town and being...
