We took a chance with this hotel for the value and location. It was so filthy that we checked out after one night. The location is great, but seriously, the hotel was grimy, moldy, and just filthy. Disgusting bathroom, the room definitely hadn't been cleaned between guests. I travel a lot, and this was by far the worst ever. I...

For 70€ and the location, this hotel is fine. The room was clean and it was quiet at night. About the front desk, I don't think they're rude exactly, but just very matter-of-fact/direct if you ask them questions.

We were looking for a Four day break Hotel with the best value for money accomodation. We expected small and it was, but it was quiet, very clean and friendly with a perfect balconied view of mountains with Donkeys at our feet. Right outside lay a Plain tree lined park. Like a film setting straight out of Lord of the...

I stayed here for one night, in a smallish room on the first floor (80 euros) that smelled badly of the fast food joint just below. The Hotel Laurence will continue to fill up because there are so few hotels close to the beach, and Cassis is an extremely popular destination for French vacationers in the summer. That`s too bad,...

The receptionist ,we did not get the womans name, was extremely rude and unfriendly, not at all helpfull. She was even rude on the phone to a french friend. Alltough the area was nice,it was hard to enjoy our stay with such an unfriendly person behind the desk. We never experienced anything like that ever before!!!!

Trying to book a budget hotel room in Cassis is a bit of an arduous task - mainly because many of the hotels do not take bookings through their website. I persisted and called Hotel Laurence myself, and so glad I did! The location is simply wonderful, it's right at the heart of the town with the harbour on the...

Hotel - Found it via Tourist Info when we got there. 64 Euros per night so good value. It was just a bog standard hotel with a small room and ensuite with a paper thin wall. Location - perfect. right in the centre of Cassis. Cassis - very pretty but a little too touristy and full of old people (no...

This is a small hotel with small rooms but it makes up for it with location, location. location. Its just a few steps away from the waterfront and the main shopping streets. We had a small balcony with a lovely view but frankly spent little time in the room. Its a little bit of a challenge to find when you...

I stayed here for a week and thought the hotel was great, great value for money too. I love small French hotels, no frills, just clean and comfortable and central. Right opposite the park and 30 seconds from the harbour and beach. Couldn't be better!
