I arrived here after changing my previously booked hotel which was a big disappointment. I actually wanted to stay at the 3 star hotel in the same complex but since the reservation was changed that very day they only had place in the motel. It's actually better then the last 3 stars hotels I stayed in while France. It's definitely cleaner! They clean my room every day (and I really is clean), I have good wifi, good AC (the unit is old but gets the job done), a small kitchenette, plenty of parking spaces and a nice little pool. Oh, and the parquet is a plus! It's also very close to a small commercial center, where you can find some place to eat, a few supermarkets and stores, pharmacy and even a car wash. Sure, it's not fancy or elegant, the fridge isn't working perfectly but it has all I need. So I'll probably stay there next time I'm in the area for work.

I am currently in a solo travel phase, and have just completed a three-centre tour of Provence staying in low-cost B&B accommodation. After a week and a half of clandestine kettle boiling, French breakfasts and trawling for suitable evening eating places, I was very pleased to arrive at this self-catering facillity where I could just please myself. The 2-star rated motel is in a secure compound behind the 3-star Hotel Ariane, where there is a 24-hour, English speaking reception and breakfast if you require it. The locked parking area was reassuring after losing bits of my hire car in the night outside another hotel on this trip. The twin room was a little cramped with very comfortable beds, but was not entirely weather proof against the Mistral which blew throughout my stay. The en-suite was quite adequate. The kitchenette was equipped with cooking rings, a microwave, pots and pans and best of all a refrigerator; but take your own kettle and washiing up things. There is another Hotel Ariane and Top Motel in nearby Fos-sur-Mer. The other guests I saw looked like transient workers rather than tourists, so maybe the company is catering for a local demand. I would certainly recommend this accommodation for anyone travelling alone whether for business or pleasure.

We stayed 3 nights at this motel. The swimmingpool was really good; our daughter enjoyed it tremendously: its not big but not small either; and clean. Our room was a bit small but nice. Breakfast was fine for the money. We chose the motel because of the price and the location: we wanted to visit Marseilles and bath in the sea. The staff was very friendly and surprisingly good at English.
