My wife and I and two friends spent two delightful days at Vaison-la-Romaine last October, staying at l'Eveche. Because the B&B is located in the medieval "haute ville" of Vaison-la-Romaine where the quaint cobblestone "streets" are essentially alleyways, barely wide enough for a car, we felt very fortunate to find a parking space in the Place du Vieux Marche less...

Very charming house, when we, thanks to Google maps, managed to come in the correct way on the narrow cobble street in the old town. The beds were good, the breakfast good, the prices very reasonable, great town. A super find!

We spent three nights in Vaison-la-Romaine at the B&B L'Eveche, located in the upper medieval portion of the town of Vaison-la-Romaine. L'Eveche is run by Aude and Jean-Loup and their hospitality was great! Aude made a wonderful breakfast and she was always friendly and eager to please. Likewise Jean-Loup was always ready to answer any questions and he provided wonderful...

L' Eveche is a charming B&B in the town of Vaison la Romaine. The town has a low part and this B&B is located in the high part. It's the oldest part of the city, which has Roman ruins, small shops and cafes. The B&B is in an old building that used to be part of the Bishop's Palace in...

We stayed 2 nights, could easily have stayed more. This is gorgeous melt-in-your-chair B&B. The owners were extremely accommodating and have an exquisite sense of interior design and are passionate about books. The breakfast was lovely out on the balcony with plenty of it. Parking was provided at the bottom of the town and the owners helped me park the...

We stayed at L'Eveche for three days during a visit to Provence. The hosts are absolutely charming and welcoming, making you feel very much at home. The entire house is like waking into an art gallery but is very warm and inviting. We stayed in the Verte-Jade which was perfect for my husband, daughter and myself. The view over the...

Situated in old part of town. What a charming place and the husband and wife team that operate it are lovely and so nice. Really old house with many different rooms and living area. Gorgeous terrace with magnificent views. Great choice of different items for breakfast. Had full use of rear yard and sheds to store our bikes. Really cute...

This is a lovingly furnished home that is full of character, from the bedrooms and living areas to the outside terraces. The view is superb and you will be well looked after by friendly hosts, although those with mobility issues may find the narrow stairs difficult to navigate. We were lucky enough to find parking in a nearby square on...

My wife and I stayed at L'Eveche in late June. I was riding in the Gran Fondo Mont Ventoux, and this was a perfect location. They had a secure area behind their B&B to store the bike I rented (that was covered in the event it rained). They provided breakfast for me and another group that was riding in the...

This is perhaps the most uncomfortable place we've stayed in during our two-week trip: low ceiling (you'll bump your head), a maze of dangerously-steep staircases, no A/C in very hot room, not enough space, NO PARKING nearby (only at the foot of the village), narrow bathroom, basic breakfast..... and yet, this place is amazing. from the moment I walked into...
