I stayed at Hotel le Caribou when I travelled to compete in the Megavalanche 2016. As a woman travelling alone, I could not have chosen a more perfect place to stay in Alpe d’Huez in terms of the welcome, the accommodation, the location and the wonderful food served each evening. I flew with my mountain bike from London Gatwick to...

Stayed for a couple of days to catch some later season skiing. Friendly place, clean and modern. Nice bar, and a restaurant if you need it although there are plenty of other choices in Alpe d'Huez. Close to the lift that serves the old village taking you to the main lift area. Discounts on lift passes and ski hire too....

We initially booked to stay for 1 night during a three week euro trip summer 2014 (no snow so I couldn't comment on that) but ended up staying for 2 nights as both the hotel and Alpe D'Huez itself are so beautiful, plus the weather was fantastic. Hotel is located in the old town part of Alpe D'Huez, near to...

This hotel is well located in the old part of Alpe D'Huez, close to free bus and ski lift. It is renovated and is well maintained. There's fast free wi-fi. We had room 9 which was spacious. The only minor issue was no extractor fan in the bathroom which leads to a slightly damp smell but the bathroom was sparklingly...

Hotel is located near the tourist information and close to restaurants and center. It is only 100m from the traverse lift that takes you up to the slopes. You can also ski near the hotel with 50m walk back. Rooms are small but there is enough space to dry ski gear of two. Biggest down side is very cold shower...

Ate here for lunch on first arriving at the resort and food was very average along with the service. Also the style inside is not classic mountain but grey and modern. Got the impression it was popualr with the locals.

Stayed here in late March 2011 on a short ski break to Alpe d'Huez. This hotel provides a bed, wardrobe and bathroom in a tight space. Clean enough, functional, modern materials rather than Alpine style - but no frills or creature comforts so bring your own shampoo! The medium-sized bar doubles as a breakfast room and also serves as a...

I stayed here for a long weekend in January, and met up with friends who had booked a week package deal in a chalet. The location was great for skiing, five minutes walk to a chairlift in the morning, and on the way home a couple of minutes from a piste going through the resort. Service was friendly and good....
