We had a lovely time at the hotel, from the minute we walked into the lobby we were met with a very warm welcome. The room was lovely with beautiful views , very clean and plenty of space. The bar area was really comfortable, staff are so friendly and helpful they actually made our holiday - a huge thank you to Alicia, Thomas and Arthur. After a day of skiing, it was great to come back to afternoon tea and sit by the fire. The restaurant has amazing views, the evening meal was lovely and I must call out Tristan, he is the manager of the restaurant and demonstrates true leadership, his attention to detail is outstanding and you can see the team who work with him follow the same standards- all are so friendly and helpful! Unfortunately, breakfast is not the same and the reason why I gave 4 stars not 5. Tables are not reset after people leave, many people walking round looking for knives and forks, the hot breakfast food ran out very quickly and not replaced, the coffee machines were permanently running out of milk, there was no visibility of a manager and staff stood around and not so helpful such a shame as everything in the hotel is amazing.

Amazing stay at the hotel. Great rooms and service. One thing I must mention is a lady by the name of Charlene She is the manager of the Hotel.I must say that she is very professional and experienced obviously when dealing with on going problems which I think almost every hotel has. I requested a service during my stay that the hotel does not provide normally and she accommodated me. All I can say is that I will definitely return to La Pic Blanc . Thank you Charlene❤️

We had a three generation family ski holiday, staying at Le Pic Blanc. The staff were all friendly and nothing was too much trouble. There is a ski shop and storage on the bottom floor which is an excellent facility. Francois was proactive and emailed us after booking to see what we needed to hire and approximate sizes to ensure he had the items in stock. The hotel is ideally situated near the Bergers Lift and a parade of shops, including a supermarket and pharmacy along with bars and restaurants. For little ones there’s a lovely play park with climbing frames etc just outside the hotel. The rooms are clean and practical, with very comfy beds. Plug sockets are near the bed and there’s a nespresso machine as well as a kettle. One slight niggle- a few more drawers would have been handy. The restaurant had a great breakfast buffet and plenty of high chairs. We did’t book ha;of board but ate at the hotel most nights. The half board menu changed daily and had two choices at each course, plus there were a la carte items to choose as well. The children’s menu was excellent, with fish and pasta a big hit. The hotel was busy when we were there as it was French spring break but the smiles of the staff never faltered. Live acoustic music in the bar, pre dinner ballon sculptures and face painting all added to a lovely family time. Not to be forgotten, the waffles, and cookies in the lounge at 4.30 -lovely treat after a day on the slopes. The beautiful pool was also a great hit- with gorgeous views of the mountains through floor length windows. It was an ideal family hotel.

Just returned from a 5 day half-board stay at this hotel. Lovely hotel, staff very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean, spacious, comfortable and warm. Restaurant was really nice, food was delicious, had a good choice for breakfast including freshly cooked eggs and pancakes. Bar area comfortable and relaxing - some entertainment for younger children, a real fire gave a cosy feel and pool table was a popular feature. Hotel in a great location - 2 min walk to the lifts and a shopping centre with multiple equipment hire shops and restaurants/cafes/bars - with good connections to main Alp d’huez village (a 15 min walk away). Would be more than happy to stay again.

Plus points: Beautiful views from dining area. Proximity to piste Staff mostly very helpful Evening meals of a high standard Sandwiches and cakes provided each afternoon Negatives Upon arrival hotel failed to provide cold platters for 2 of our party - that was compounded by a further failure to provide complementary drink. Duty ‘Manager’ response woeful. The ‘Spa’ description i s not warranted.A sauna will cost €20. No steam room. Elsewhere such facilities included at this price level. Nowhere near enough seating in the bar area - hotel needs a general refresh.

Our spontaneous decision to spend the weekend skiing at Alpe d’Huez led us to stay at the Pin Blanc hotel, and overall, it was a delightful experience. Despite not being able to check in early, the staff warmly welcomed us, allowing us to change into our ski clothes at the spa and conveniently pick up our rental skis in the basement, complete with lockers. Arriving at 10:30, we were on the slopes by 12:30! Upon returning at 5 pm, we were pleased to find a very comfortable room with a mountain view and balcony. Highlights included the quietude of our room, shielded from elevator noise by double doors, and its tasteful decor. Additionally, amenities like a fridge, Nespresso machine, and assortment of teas were appreciated. The bathroom was well-appointed, featuring lovely products, with the body milk leaving a delightful fragrance. Breakfast was abundant, served in a spacious room overlooking the mountains, and the 5 pm tea time offering madeleines, crepes, and hot chocolate was a nice touch. On the downside, the bathtub took an exceptionally long time to fill and had drainage issues. Also the hotel wasn’t ski in- ski out, we had to walk 5 min to the base of the mountain. Special thanks to François at AltitudeSports for his invaluable assistance in ensuring our skiing experience was exceptional, and to Opale, Carla, and Juliette for their warm morning greetings.

We stayed for a week - good location and hotel looks fine. But staff massively overstretched, food is poor (3 choices for children for a week - chicken and chips, fish and chips or burger and chips), service is bad (overstretched staff) with food delivered ad hoc and often cold, 10 yr old found a plastic string in his breakfast this morning - manager not overly bothered, swimming pool has been freezing since we arrived - apparently a pump is broken. We talked to reception about the poor food choice for children - told us to talk to the restaurant as not their department. When we arrived we were surprised it was ‘only’ 4 star but maybe they are lucky to have that.

We stayed in a family suite during February half term. The suite was well equipped, clean and a decent size. Beautiful views. There were a few evening when they offered extra activities for the children such as face painting and. Balloon modelling which were big hits. Main issue was the restaurant - service was slow and food often arrived barely warm. Very limited choice. The staff were nice - just not enough of them. Children’s menu was very restricted - burger/nuggets/fish with either chips or pasta or vegetables. Shouldn’t be too much to ask for them to have a carb AND vegetables each night? Breakfast coffee was awful - served by a machine which was usually broken so ended up serving cold coffee.

Stayed during February half-term week. Location, amazing very close to lifts and village. Bar area, nice and accommodating,  lovely fire place.  Drinks good quality. Tables not cleared at times albeit enough staff to do this. Hotel was busy, we found at times not enough seating during evenings. Arthur on the bar was very helpful. Cleanliness spot on, the room is serviced daily to a very high standard. 10/10. Cleaning throughout to a very good standard.  Rooms, we had a family superior.  2 adults and two children.  Bathroom nice and well equipped.  The room itself was very cramped with the sofa bed extended. Not much storage for clothes, no draws. Difficult to open the door to balcony with sofa bed extended. Found very cramped for a family superior.  Reception, some staff more helpful than others. Upon arrival we witnessed customers being given a tour and explained the amenities. However, we just received a check in, and found having to ask questions. Charlotte was the most helpful when approached.  Spa, beautiful enjoyed time in spa plus had a very relaxing massage. Pool is nice, clean and inviting. You pay extra for the steam room, sauna and jacuzzi 20euros for an hour, which you have to prebook. Food, not so great unfortunately...... We were half board. One evening we sent back the pork belly twice due to it being stone cold, even the second time still stone cold.  Third time we were served what looked like just fat. Overall, we found the meats (steak, pork) served inedible, fatty, just not nice.  Breakfast very hectic at 0730.  One morning we went down at 0820 to avoid the rush, to find dirty tables, no boiled eggs, no still water, no coffee cups, no salted butter, only baguettes left and the scrambled eggs were stone cold. When asked for replacements I was told 90% of guests came at 0730 for breakfast and items like eggs, butter, bread had all gone.  Breakfast is served from 0700 to 1000. We arrived at 0820 to find hardly anything available.   The waiting staff work extremely hard and are friendly. Arthur who worked in the bar and restaurant provided excellent service. There are two restaurant managers. One who is very friendly and works hard throughout service. Unfortunately, the other is very dismissive, and he didn't want to engage or have any understanding of the issues we faced. I noticed out of all the staff he doesn't wear a name badge. Kids meal choice three same mains every night but kids enjoyed their meals.  Overall, it was a nice stay, food disappointing, and small room for a family superior room.

We arranged to stay here for 6 nights for a skiing break. Which I think skiing is a heavy day, then relaxing on the evening with nice food and a few drinks. Positive points of this hotel are good location for ski lifts, breakfast good choice but coffee machine always needs refilling. Staff are really helpful and try to accommodate. Negative points, groups of people for conferences and meetings. Numerous nights we had groups of people smoking and really loud outside reception up until 2am one morning. As we were on The first floor we had no chance of sleeping. I would stay here again but definitely the rear of the hotel and a high room. If I had known this was a conference hotel I would not of booked it. Such a shame.
