It’s always a great experience to spend a day or more in this beautiful family hotel and restaurant .We came a few years ago and found it very comfortable but now with the renovations that took place in 2020 it’s really an amazing place where to spend an holiday . Mountain / Modern decorated rooms with all the comforts ,even table and chairs on the balconies ,and amazing pool and spa ,you can also book a massage .For me the highlight was the wonderfully decorated ,modern rustic restaurant and the special fresh and also creative at times food . Copious dishes arrived at our table without a long wait ,dishes beautifully presented and full of fresh ingredients from the area .The breakfast was superb ,you can make your own hot drinks or a fresh juice,freshly baked desserts and breads that go with cheeses of the area or cold cuts ,yogurts and crème caramel … On top of all a the exquisite kindness of the owners and everyone who works in this real gem .…

If you are an experienced traveler you know very well what 3, 4or 5 stars means. This hotel is not a 4 stars as it fails at 2 major points as far as hospitality: - the service is very poor: empty reception, the personnel( even the lady owner) improperly dressed for their function, and the ATTITUDE is unbelievably RUDE. It was my first time in my life when a waiter thrown me the dish and the cutlery. I asked to see the owner and she refused to come to discuss. When i met her at the reception and i asked if we can speak in English she “ executed” me with a definite NO. And then, while passing by the waitresses who got mad at me , they mocked me … Of course, it is my mistake because i have not understood French. But, at no moment i was rude , on the contrary. - the room: the size is not the problem ( we are in France!). The lack if proper 4 stars amenities as missing: no minibar, no complementary water, no coffee machine, no body lotion & hair conditioner. The towels are very used. The no door bathroom has no logic both as functionality or design! The room is quite poor as design , but the bathroom is vey large and it seems that belongs to another hotel room. The pillow are too high and square (60x60) - a no go for hotels. The guests who are able& willing to pay +250 euro/ night have better& nicer personal houses. They appreciate more THE SERVICE. If this does not raise to the expected level……

Clean rooms, great location, the hotel offers a very pleasant stay next to nature. The hotel has the most amazing restaurant too with really exceptional food so 100% recommended if you are in the area.

Clean, quite and comfy room, nice location, hike + bike possibilities. Large breakfast selection, good restaurant but expensive if you don't take the menu. Tartiflette and fish are delicious. Small indoor pool.

There is not much to say: excellent staff, very well designed everywhere, very good mattress and linen, outstanding restaurant and very good breakfast. What else do you need? You will find very little details everywhere what make you comfortable.

Top quality hotel with very friendly and helpful staff which has recently been extensively refurbished. High quality food in restaurants. Breakfast a little expensive but otherwise could not fault our 4 night stay.

Very nice hotel, combining modern design with authenticity. Very friendly staff, the family Trincaz makes you feel at home. We really had a very nice short ski @ Les Gentianettes. Breakfast was very good, and the VIP bus service of the hotel a very nice extra to get to the slopes.

Honestly the worst hotel people I have ever seen running a hotel! A middle aged covered in perfume madam in the reception who never smiled, was snob to guests and was yelling to the stuff behind doors and a tall blond young lady that was inexplicably distant and cold and you could almost feel like she was only doing her job for the money but with a necessary “fake smile”. Same feeling with the people “assisting” during breakfast. I personally felt like they didn’t want ”us” being there, they were staring and standing in front of the people who were just trying to get breakfast from the small buffet and as a result everybody was acting weird. The hotel overall was really nice and picturesque with beautiful decorations and details in interior design, but the food in the two restaurants of the hotel that was supposed to be.....“superb”, was nothing really special in my opinion. Too much ”va va voom” for nothing... I wouldn’t recommend, for sure.…
