Hotel's Favourite
Lovely family run hotel in the centre of Samoens. Staff were really friendly and helpful and could not have done any more to make our stay comfortable. Breakfast offered plenty of choice, the usual cold meats, cheese, breads and pastries, plus a cook yourself egg station. It seemed that the restaurant was closed in the evening, but as we were only there for one night, I could be wrong. There is a relatively lively outside bar for apres ski. For those driving to the resort, there is ample parking beside the hotel.

Great location in the centre of Samoen. Our room was weirdly hot, but just ended up sleeping with the window open. Very friendly and helpful reception team, great breakfast and super useful boot room for skis. Shame the indoor pool isn’t a jacuzzi, and the walls are quite thin between rooms!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Les Glaciers. A lovely traditional styled hotel which felt so homely. Our triple room was a good size, with a simple bathroom with shower over bath, robes, slippers and fresh towels each day. The bedrooms were very warm and beds came with two duvets! Breakfast was buffet style and was very nice, fresh bread, pastries, cereal, fruit, eggs and bacon to cook yourself, as well as sausages. Juice and hot drinks too. Lovely location in the centre of the village. We always managed to park outside, there is ski room underneath. The staff were lovely and very helpful and friendly. Beautiful hotel that we would happily stay at again.

Lovely traditional hotel in the heart of the village, walking distance to the slopes or bus stop near by. Breakfast was plentiful with a good choice. Pool indoors which was great but very few used it.

Excellent hotel and location, friendly staff and great apres ski. Probably the best music and atmosphere in samoens. Will definitely stay again. Ski bus only 1mins walk away. And grand massif gondola 2 mins bus away. Perfect hotel for a ski break.

Just returned from a 5 night stay for a ski holiday in Samoens. The hotel is centrally located in the small town/village and very easy to get to the bus stop or gondola station. You can leave your skis downstairs in a room or hire lockers from the gondola station or at 1600 (which we did). The first bus in the morning goes from the Tourist Office at 8.40am (3 min walk to the tourist office). The breakfast was plentiful for even the fussiest eater. Cook yourself stations for eggs and bacon or pastries, cake, cheese, meat, bread, fruit, yoghurts, coffee and fruit juices. You can also pick up a takeaway breakfast box if needed. Coffee machine was good quality. If you want a quiet breakfast then get down there early. We were the only ones eating at 7.30am most mornings in peak season so we could get out on the slopes first thing! :) The apres bar outside is great and a lovely added bonus. Music, fondue, cocktails, beer and friendly service. We also liked the tables with gas flames inside, they looked cool and kept you warm outside. The hotel is run by a family. We didn't see them much but did share the occasional hello as we breezed past reception. They're not rude but won't be going out of their way for a chat! In the evening the front desk is shut and you get a fob for the front door. This suited us as we were skiing most of the day and then eating out in local restaurants in the evening. We did plan to use the swimming pool and sauna but didn't have enough time. They did look clean though and are all located downstairs by the ski room. The bedroom was a twin room so we pushed the beds together (this also gave us more room). The rooms and hotel are immaculately clean in a traditional chalet style. We had a balcony but as it was so cold we didn't use it. This would have been fab in the summer. The only complaint was the shower. There is no glass or curtain so you have to shower with your back to the wall so you don't flood the bathroom! (maybe this is a French thing) The bathroom was small but sufficient. Rooms will be made up and towels changed daily. You do have a TV in each room but there is only 1 English Channel which is World news. All in all, a nice hotel in Samoens with a great location :)

I always look forward to staying here - couldn't be better located for Winter Sports and other facilities. The family who run the Hotel are all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is a real treat to start the day, and a refreshment in the bar, either inside or out, is an essential part of apres skiing!
