We booked a 3 bedroom apartment for 5 people for 4 nights which consisted of a double, twin and bunk room. The living area consisted of a small kitchen area with lots of equipment although very little space for prep, a table with 6 chairs and a sofa bed. It was perfect for our group size but 8 people would be a squeeze. Bedrooms were small and as others have said there is limited space to store suitcases but they were clean and comfy with wardrobes with hanging space and shelves. There was a shower room, separate toilet and bathroom with shower over the bath and toilet. Plenty of hot water and powerful. We ordered a breakfast box at reception for our first day which I don't recommend. It consisted of a croissant each, 1 baguette for 5, fruit juice each and some jams/nutella/butter and a puree yoghurt. Disappointing for 11 euros each!!! Location was a 5 minute walk to the lift and in the other direction the village. Overall it was a great stay and I would use again if in Samoens. …

Good location for a short ski break. Short level walk to GM express lift where there is a ski depot, but not that close to supermarket and restaurants. Modern and comfortable. Children liked the pool.

Be prepared to clean your own apartment on arrival. Check in ill managed and off hand staff at check in, though other staff gave useful information and more friendly. I personally did not use pool or children's facilities although family members did use pool and enjoyed it. Garbage facilities inadequate and advise take own bin bags as none provided.

Poor apartment. We were a family of 5 and have stayed in 2 bedroom apartments like these over 15 times. This was by far the worst. The apartment was supposed to accommodate 6 people (2 bedrooms and 2 on the sofa bed in the lounge). There were only 4 chairs around the table, so we had to use a chair from the balcony so all 5 of us could sit around the table. There was only 1 sofa and no other comfy chairs so only 3 of us could sit in comfortable seats at any one time. There was no natural light. The bedrooms had velux windows which had black plastic stuck to the glass so no light from those. The position of the apartment was such that we had no sunlight at all coming through the balcony doors which were the only other glass in the apartment. Would not stay again. Ok location though. …

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment for a week with 5 adults (the apartment sleeps 6). Immediately upon arrival we were shocked how small it was. Throughout the week it only became more obvious how unfit for purpose the apartment was an also how unclean it was too… ***Will start by saying there’s no toilet roll or hand soap provided so bring your own*** LOCATION Convenient for the ski lift (5 min walk) and village (10 min walk). Also nice views of the mountain. CLEANLINESS There was a layer of dust on everything (see images), huge clumps of dust under the beds, our socks were filthy just from walking on the floor, and there was loads of lose hair in one of the bathrooms (like someone had shaved) that we had to vacuum up before using BEDROOMS The bedrooms have no mirrors and nowhere to store your luggage so the suitcases end up in the space between the bed and the wall. There’s only just enough room to walk around the bed so storage is desperately needed. There was also dried blood on my sheets (see image) KITCHEN There are enough basic utensils to cook but it is lacking in some items. For example there are no oven gloves and no seasoning (salt & pepper). Given we were in France it was surprising there was no garlic press too… they also only provide a small number of bin bags so you will likely run out of those LIVING ROOM This is modern and has a TV & “fireplace”. There’s a sofa bed which sleeps 2. The sofa itself can only comfortably fit 3 people so if there are more of you they will be sat on the hard kitchen chairs or the floor. If there had been a floor cushion or bean bag, this would have dramatically improved how comfortable the living room was. As the apartment fits 6 if there are 2 people sleeping in the living room, there’s nowhere to store any luggage BATHROOMS There is one toilet and two separate showers. One toilet between 6 people is less than ideal and it’s very unhygienic that you have to use the door handles to get to the other room to wash your hands. The showers themselves were very hot which was nice but a shame there are no toiletries provided SPA Facilities are good, there’s a pool, sauna, steam room, and hot tub. However the pool is not warm and given that half of it is outside, this was disappointing GENERAL - The doors are poorly fitted so they are hard to open and close and are really loud when being used. So much so that it’s impossible to sleep through the night if someone uses one during the night - There’s only 4 coat hooks even though the apartment sleeps 6 - The walls are very thin - You have to take the bins down yourself which we had to do multiple times as they are only small so fill up very fast. The bin bags were also piled up next to the main bins (which appeared to be full) which was unsightly - The boot warmers in the boot room didn’t appear to work…

Lovely stay, group of 6 friends staying for 3 days of skiing and snowboarding. The facilities are great, clean and practical - large underground card park, private ski lockers with boots warmers (access with your room key), daily bakery service and coffees available from reception. The spa is a a great addition and host stream room, sauna, pool and hot tub - all truly appreciate after a day on the hill. Only slight negative would be the space in the rooms, but we were able to store luggage on the balcony and pack clothes into the wardrobes.

This is a great place to stay, the apartment was clean and well equipped. Loved the pool and spa facilities, just what's needed after a day of skiing, mountain biking or other activities. The staff were very helpful, friendly and accommodating, just a shame the reception hours are limited during the afternoon. The accommodation is handy for the gondola and village centre with a selection of shops, restaurants ski and bike hire shops. Would definitely return, even though we couldn’t ski as much as we had planned we were able to hire mountain bikes and had great fun exploring the local area.
