Lovely place to stay and feel at home with French mountains. The hospitality of Florence and Patrice is large, having a chat and enjoyed dinner with them. Breakfast was very tasty with homemade confitures, bread, yoghurt (yum!). The bedrooms are comfortable, the bathroom is small and neat. The walls are thin, were loud conversations can be heard. From Epilobe only 10 minutes walk to centre of Samoëns and 15 minutes maximum walk to the cabine lift.

Lovely clean room with ensuite bathroom. Cosy warm chalet with added bonus of swimming pool and sauna below. Very convenient for town and ski bus. Delicious home cooked and often home grown food and above all lovely welcoming and accommodating hosts. Would definitely recommend!

A very warm welcome awaited us when we arrived in resort from Florence and Patrice. Room lovely size plenty of space to store all that ski clothing, along with en-suite bathroom. Always lovely conversation with our hosts keen to tell us there next adventures and always interested in yours. Breakfast is French style wonderful home made yoghurts, bread, jams and brioche. As long as you take into account it is not ski to door and make the most of the bus service, checking the timetable you will have an amazing stay.

Florence and Patrice were so welcoming! We had a great stay in their beautiful chalet. It was a short walk from the ski lift and shops. The food was great and they were extremely accommodating to the tastes of everyone in the group. It was amazing to come in from a day skiing to the wellness centre where we had the swimming pool, sauna and Turkish bath all to ourselves!

We had a really enjoyable time staying with Florence and Patrice.They catered for our group excellently at all times with lovely meals (including making allowances for the pickier eaters), conversation and advice about the area. The B&B had a lovely atmosphere, with lovely detail in the decor and facilities, and we were made to feel at home. Having the use of the sauna, steam room and jacuzzi were a bonus. The ski lift is nearby and the position just a few minutes from town provides a quiet accessible location to explore from or stay in and rest in.

The welcome provided by Patrice and Florence leaves a lasting memory from our visit. Their beautiful chalet was a great place to stay for our family group with plenty of space in the bedrooms and a wellness room in the basement which we enjoyed each day. The highpoint of each evening was the food prepared by Patrice and the ambience of the dining experience with our hosts. We finished our stay with a birthday party for one of our group which they hosted wonderfully and left us with very happy memories of our time in L'Epilobe. The location is great, with a short walk to the village centre and a free ski bus to the ski area within 50 metres. The locality has good skiing as well as nice hiking and snowshoe walking nearby.

Had such a pleasant time with Florence and Patrice during Christmas holidays. It was my first time to visit to France from Japan, but I enjoyed starting a day with homemade breads and jams every single day in the morning. Of course, dinners were unforgettably delicious, too. Epilobe is well-located so that I could sleep very peacefully in a clean room. Highly recommended if looking for a cozy place for holidays! クリスマス休暇をとてもリラックスして過ごすことができました。初めての渡仏・アルプスでしたが、オーナーのパトリスさんとフローレンスさんがとても優しく出迎えてくださいました。自家製パンとジャムの朝食に始まり、日本だと味わうことのできないフランス家庭料理を毎日堪能しました。清潔感のあるお部屋で、他の宿泊客や野外の騒音に煩わされることもなく、静かに就寝することができました。都会の喧騒を忘れるには、最適です。

Very nice bed and breakfast situated a 5-6 minute ski bus ride from the main Grand Massif ski lift and with beautiful views of the mountain peaks all around. Our room was of a typical alpine style with lots of pine and sported a good sized double bed. A dedicated private bathroom with shower, WC and matching thick cotton bath robes was available for our exclusive use just across the hallway, which although not strictly en-suite worked well during our stay. We found our hosts to be very welcoming, friendly and we found that nothing was too much trouble for them. A traditional French style breakfast is served each morning in the dining room where you get to meet your fellow guests around a large country style table which is a nice opportunity to chat to fellow walkers/skiers about the day ahead. Samoens is a lovely village and L'Epilobe is a lovely place to stay during your visit.…

We had the opportunity of eating most evening meals last week at L'Epilobe, all home-cooked by Patrice and Florence and experiencing Florence's lovely massage treatments. We did not stay at the chalet but had friends who stayed there so we had agreed with Patrice and Florence that we would join them for dinners which we did and can only praise Patrice's very good home-cooking and their friendliness and hospitality.

Our new years ski holiday took place in this friendly chalet of Florence and Patrice. The chalet is very nearby the ski bus stop and about 10 minutes walking distance to the cosy centre of Samoans. Very convenient! Rooms are comfortable and spacious. the chalet is cosy and warm. The plus for us was the indoor sauna and hammam and little indoor pool. And the luxury of a very good local dinner every night! Patrice and Florence are great hosts creating a nice "family-like" atmosphere with friendly interaction with the other guests and with them. That was a new experience for us!
