Superb and very welcoming family run hotel. The owners, Mme and M. Deffaugt along with their staff could not have been more friendly and accommodating throughout. We were made to feel very relaxed and felt at home the entire time. The whole set up; accommodation, dining, skiing, ski/boot storage, bus stop on the doorstep and such close proximity to a very beautiful and charmingly traditional village centre was excellent. Thank you very much for such a lovely stay and making our holiday an extremely memorable one. Ps. Everyone we met at the resort and village of Samoens could not have been more friendly and welcoming to us as tourists, we are very grateful and will visit again.
Just come back from a weeks stay ski holiday at the end of the season. We stayed in the annex at the rear of hotel and was very impressed with room. Although we ate out each evening and booked on a B&B basis, the kitchen area was equipped with everything needed if you wished to stay in, electric hob, dish washer & fridge freezer. You can use all hotel facilities with an excellent spa area with jacuzzi and sauna as well as indoor and outdoor pool. The bar area was very relaxing to sit at night. Breakfast was good with plenty choice both hot and cold. We ate in restaurant one evening which was very good with a good choice and evening special. Will definitely be back.
Solo night stay at this hotel. Great location for a short walk into town and also the slopes. Nice on site restaurant and friendly staff. Traditional rooms of the region. Disappointed not to have a stand up shower In my room. Great pool inside and out.
Visiting Samoëns as a couple for business purposes but also combining our trip with a chance to relax. This hotel offers it all, excellent facilities with a lovely warm welcome from the owners. They are attentive and meticulous about high standards whilst offering a relaxed atmosphere and inviting ambiance in all communal areas within the hotel. Our room was a beautiful suite with stunning mountain views up across Samoëns and the sun shining constantly throughout our trip was wonderful. The room was spotlessly clean with crisp fresh linens and towels, including sets for using the relaxing jacuzzi and pool. We enjoyed very good massage treatments on site too from their lovely therapist. The restaurant food was very enjoyable, fresh and tasty produce, the fillet and entrecôte steaks were superb. Overall we can see why this family run business is super successful as they are obviously putting their hearts and souls into it and have done for a long time. We look forward to returning here and would not hesitate to recommend the hotel for couples or families alike, they is something for everyone here and the resort itself is so picturesque too.…
Neige et Roc combines rustic French charm with excellent service and outstanding food. An extra bonus is that this is a family business. The hotel is in a quiet yet central location, offering convenient transport to ski lifts and a very welcome spa when you get off the slopes. A real gem!
Brilliant hotel and the food was superb. I've never had better food in half-board accommodation. The staff are very friendly and accommodating and my friends thoroughly enjoyed the spa. In terms of location, this hotel seems to be as good as it can be. The ski-bus to the Grand Masif Express stops right outside the door and the journey takes 5 minutes.
The hotel is in a great location on the edge of Samoens village. Rooms are bright clean and most have excellent mountain views. The inside and outside pools are a real bonus. Great walks for all levels are within easy reach. Staff and owners are helpful and efficient. The food is excellent and the breakfasts varied and plentiful. We really enjoyed our few days here.
Great hotel, very near center of the village. 4-5 minutes walk from the centre. Very quiet location with great views. Indoor and outdoor poos and spa are a great plus after a day's skiing or hiking! I recommend!
great stay and superb hotel! Everything was perfect (rooms, swimming pool, amenities). Samoens and its region is splendid. We'll definitely come back (winter or summer)! Perfect for family holidays (kids friendly).
We had a standard, traditional wooden room with surprisingly spacious bathroom and a big corner bath. The sauna and jacuzzi were good and peaceful too. We caught the bus to the ski lifts from right outside the hotel door. A 5-10 minute walk to bars and restaurants in the evening.
