We absolutely LOVED our stay at the Chalet Hotel L'Ecrin. It's one of the best ski accommodations we've ever stayed in. Amazing food, fantastic Mark Warner staff. Brilliant in house swimming pool and leisure facilities. The nursery for kids is spotless. We will definitely be back, thank you Mark Warner!

We travelled as a family of 6 and had a lovely week at this hotel. Its beautiful, with a lovely bar area and our kids loved the pool. The staff were beyond fantastic - friendly and helpful even though there was a huge cock up with our lift passes, the staff recified it immediately for us - bringing new passes...

We have just returned from our first experience of Hotel L'Ecrin and it is safe to safe we can't wait to return! The hotel staff were friendly, helpful, polite and kind - in particular they were incredibly attentive when one of our party had to seek medical assistance due to an accident skiing. The food choices were varied and each...

We have just returned from a family ski holiday organised by Mark Warner. Whilst we had a great family holiday with fantastic spring skiing conditions we were disappointed with the Mark Warner service. Firstly the good points. The beds were extremely comfortable and the chalet hotel had a nice feel with lots of natural wood. The swimming pool area was...

From the moment we arrived we were met by the extremely friendly staff who were more than happy to assist us wherever they could to ensure that we settled in as soon as possible. Our room was always spotless thanks to the cleaners and very comfortable. The dinners were great with 3 options for a starter and 3 options for...

With more than 10 MW ski holidays under our belts, often with lots of friends and/or family, husband and I thoroughly enjoyed L'Ecrin. Yes, we were upset that we were surcharged after we booked early, but the staff this year led by the helpful and friendly Lauren made up for that. Room (311) was cosy, warm and the storage a...

First ever Mark Warner holiday and won't be the last . Absolutely perfect . All the staff were brilliant with nothing being a problem . I was concerned as a few reviews moaned about the 20 yards from hotel to the full spa , pool , gym . Ridiculous!!! It's nothing to worry about . The facilities were perfect. So...

This was our second stay with MW and as the last was a 'proper' chalet this hotel had a very different feel. That said the very friendly team make the hotel feel personable and welcoming. Everyone was keen to help, solve problems and ensure the guests were comfortable. When an avalanche struck the nearby slopes it was clear they had...

So if you have booked a MW ski holiday previously you will be very familiar with the set up. Whilst the format at Hotel L’Ecrin is no different both the accommodation and the staff were very good and better than I have experienced before (I have previously stayed at their properties in Meribel, Les Deux Alpes, Val D’isere, Courcheval, St...

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in room 409, which had a separate single bedroom for our adult daughter. Pros Staff that were young but made a real effort and with a smile. Had doubts about their ability initially but really impressed. Menu of 3 courses , with 3 choices per course. Most meals were great and wine served as part of...
