I will get the negative points out of the way first : - the chalet is a bit of a trek from the town and beginner slopes meaning unless you are a decent skier you have to walk for about 10 minutes (doesn't sound like long but factor in ski boots, skis and icy roads then it becomes a slight...

Just returned from a week at this chalet. Our chalets hosts were great fun and did a really good job! The chalet was comfortable but situated high up in the resort with a lot of stairs! so requires a lot of walking with ski or snowboard gear. Numerous bars and restaurants within 5 minutes walking distance but overall the resort...

The food was lovely. The chalet host was very accommodating. However.... furniture was quite ropey, our bedrooms had really low ceilings, the main living room was too small for 12. the biggest issue: it was MILES to the slopes and ski school for our kids, up/down a steep and (in places) icy road. My daughter cried with exhaustion after climbing...

Stayed for Christmas week 2014. The chalet staff are incredibly nice and friendly and are the best thing about the chalet. The resort is excellent and it is fairly well located - at the top of a hill that you don't appreciate at the end of the day! However, the chalet is only accessible by taking the lift to the...

We went as 12 friends. Good things: 1) dinner was exceptional and excellent daily cake 2) fun friendly chalet boys who worked hard, were polite and respectful (the comments below about 2x 16year olds wasn't our experience. We were impressed (they knew each of our names and made us sausage/bacon butties for our 4am transfer.) 3) strong hot showers 4)...

Chalet Maryrse is on the 7th floor of the Chalet des Neiges complex. The lift was only working on a couple of the days during our stay. Even when the lift is working, you still need to walk 3 floors. The sauna was not working for several days. The pool was reportedly "cold". Wifi was intensely annoying in forcing you...

To say there was a catalogue of problems would be an understatement. First day - have to lift all suitcases and luggage up 5 flights of stairs (lift was only allowed for builders on our arrival), not too big a problem, then moving onto the food - "experienced catering staff" if that includes 16 year olds with barely any training,...

We had a great time as a group of 9 staying at Chalet Maryse and it was good value for money but three drawbacks would prevent me from staying there again: 1) The amount of stairs. There's a lift up 4 flights, but then you have to walk up the next 3 flights of stairs to the chalet, some of...

Just returned from a week in the Inghams Chalet We were a group of 9 adults, and the chalet was an ideal size for our group, we all thought that if 12 people would been there, the living/dining area in particular would have been very cramped. Lets get the negatives out of the way first:- 1) there are a lot...

We booked Chalet Maryse as a party of nine and it worked very well. Would be a bit of a squeeze, especially at dinner, for the full 12 people (six twin rooms) it is supposed to accommodate. Only one room had full en suite (WC and shower) - a couple of others had their own shower but no WC, remainder...
