This garden is a must visit. From the restaurant to gift shop and the garden it was all outstanding. Excellent food served with cheer and chat and well laid out spacious shop in intriguing old stables. The wall garden was magnificent, well laid out with information on what was being done and why. An ongoing ever changing beautifully planted garden with seating not just put in but thought about where the sitter is looking. If you are a blue card holder then follow the signs but don’t panic when it seems you are about to drive into the courtyard where people are having coffee, it’s hard right and there a a few slots. Sorry so entranced forgot to take pictures.

Very good cafe ruined by number of dogs. Really cheery staff, good coffee, eats look appetising and different, lovely location. There's plenty of tables and space in the courtyard so why, oh why do they let dogs inside?

We visited the cafe and then walked down to Kingsbarns Beach. Lovely cafe with really nice food. Friendly and catered well for vegetarians and vegans. Had to chase up our request for gluten-free bread, so if you have particular dietary requirements then it’s probably worth stressing this. Lovely walk down to Kingsbarns Beach though.

Just returned from an excellent lunch at the cafe at Cambo House. We made a 25 minute detour from Elie Beach and were not disappointed. Easy parking; nice courtyard tables (we got a table for five immediately), good service and great food. Loads of other things to do including art shop; playground and woodland walks. We’ll worth a visit

As a mature couple we stayed at West Cottage, Cambo last week for 4 magnificent nights.... it was heavenly, cute, immaculate but homely, very well equipped and a brilliant setting within 100m of bus stops to St Andrews, Anstruther, Elie, Crail, etc. So much so, that we did not use the car in 5 days! We also used it as a base to walk the 'Fife Coastal Path' to Anstruther and St Andrews and also tour and dine in St Andrews Cannot wait to return

We spent a week’s break at the cottages with 2 other households and we had a superb time. The grounds of Cambo are great for a walk and there is lots to do in the surrounding area. Cottages have everything you could want including dishwasher tablets and toilet roll! Comfy beds and great facilities, including outdoor space for dining. We’ll definitely be back!

After lockdown we were really lucky to secure a week in this lovely comfortable cottage. It’s a great location just near the distillery and a very short drive to Crail. Cambo gardens are close and looking fabulous. We were able to visit them regularly with our free passes (much appreciated). Good coffee from the cafe there- we like your use of vegware. The cottage has everything we needed for a great holiday. The kitchen is good, WiFi better than home, open coal fire for chilly evenings and a nice patio to enjoy the lovely views - and the claw foot bath is glorious! Lots of wildlife about- hares, deer and pheasants right on our doorstep. Many thanks to the owners and staff at Cambo, especially Kay Williams for taking such good care of us - every time! Our weeks holiday here has not been enough. We are already planning our next stay .

Had bypassed here so many times, but out of interest turned in & drove down the lovely wooded road to the estate, and admired the many clusters of snowdrops along the way. Had a nice cuppa in the rustic and bohemian cafe, (but cannot comment on the food as we’d already previously eaten.) Certainly seemed to be a good choice of home-made soups & filled panini, & gluten free goodies. The grounds are truly beautiful , and there’s plenty of scope for various walks around the area. Didn’t pay to see the walled garden , as didn’t think there’d be much in bloom at this time of year, but plan to come later in the year. As it is a dog-friendly destination was cheering so see so many happy, waggy-tailed dogs out and about with their owners.

Dropped in after a walk through the snowdrops the cafe is now in the hands of the second caterers which is a big improvement . It is run as basically a vegetarian cafe but lacks variety on the menu ,I had a tasty bean soup and a cheese sandwich ( I hate grated cheese in a sandwich it makes for a messy bite) the other sandwich ingredients were Brie and chutney . We had cans of soft drinks with our meal . This place could be really good with a few tweaks and the staff are pleasant

Paid a visit to see the acclaimed snowdrops. While there we used the cafe. It is a well equipped cafe set up for serve over service but for some bazaar reason the counter takes orders and then you have to sit at your table and wait and wait for a simple bowl of soup (£4.50 inc bread). There were four members of staff but they managed to make hard work of an easy task. Soup was average, bread was very good and some irony in that the gardens feature Tamworth sows and piglets but the cafe serves pretty unappealing Vegan Sausage rolls. To visit the walled garden in February is a waste of time and free of charge you can see good displays of snowdrops in other woodland areas. This expensive experience (£6.50 pp) is overhyped.
