I had a great time at Los Balcones. I stayed 3 nights, Saturday-Tuesday, and found the place to be a perfect home base for my Chinandegan adventures. The staff was attentive and friendly, the breakfast was delicious, and the room perfectly clean and comfortable, with air conditioning and a fan and a safe for valuables. I loved the artwork and...

I've just come back from my third trip to Nicaragua, and third stay at Hotel Los Balcones. The staff are as friendly and professional as ever, the breakfast is good, the coffee is good. So many shops and restaurants nearby. We walked to Parque Central every evening. Can't wait to go again; definitely will stay here again!

This is a quaint Nicaraguan hotel. Inexpensive but clean. Air conditioned rooms. Friendly staff. Good coffee and breakfast. You can't beat it for the price! The atmosphere is cheery and positive. Lots of chairs in the lobby and upstairs lobby. You will like this.

This hotel is close to the market where you can find chicken buses to other towns. The Front Desk staff was very friendly and the rooms are clean and comfortable. They also served a breakfast in the morning. After being in hostels for a few weeks it was nice to stay in a hotel. I highly suggest this location.

The rooms were good for just needing a place to sleep. My friend and I had left our towels on the floor indicating we needed a clean one but they didn't get replaced, we had to ask for clean towels ever time we wanted them. The beds were never properly made. We had to put our top sheet and blanket...

This hotel was clean, with good wifi, in a handy location in town and has secure parking. Great little cafe next door with good food. The downside was the lack of any external windows and noise. Our room only had a window onto a central atrium which can be quite noise if anyone is sitting and talking - as was...

We've stayed at this hotel many times. When my family came from the states they stayed there as well. The service is always excellent. The hotel decor is lovely though the room decor is limited. The location is great. It's centrally located and you can access a lot of what Chinandega has to offer within a few blocks. Eating their...

My wife and I are Peace Corps volunteers in Chinandega. Whenever family or friends come to visit we put them up at Los Balcones and they are always pleased. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with good AC units and WiFi. There is a pretty, central courtyard where breakfast is served. The whole hotel is decorated with colorful Nicaraguan art....

I just came back from my second trip to Nicaragua, and my second stay at Los Balcones. The staff greeted me as if I were a returning friend, and everything is still as nice as it was last year.
