I won't tell you the rooms are 5 star but for Central America they were great! The food on the other hand was 5 star all day! The staff was amazing, the property was beautiful and the views are perfect. I've spent a large portion of my life surfing. Surf camps can be hit or miss with mixed skill levels....

I just got back from my second trip to Rise Up and I'm already planning my third! Rise Up is an amazing place full of fun experiences, awesome people, and great food/accommodations. I went with a group of both experienced and beginner surfers, and everyone enjoyed the conditions and the lessons from the fun and patient surf instructors. When we...

I went to Rise Up to attend a fitness retreat that my friend was hosting. I arrived in Nicaragua not knowing what to expect, but my mind was absolutely blown when I arrived at Rise Up. I attended a yoga retreat at Rise Up and I honestly can't say enough amazing things about the experience. First off, what a spectacular location! The water was warm, the beach was massive and mostly private - and the views (especially at sunset) were unparalleled. The food was fresh, creative, healthy, colourful and delicious. [sighs at the memory of the...

Already planning a return trip! Beautiful location and seriously excellent food, but it's really the staff and other guests that make Rise Up so incredible. It's obvious that Rise Up cares about the guests, but also cares equally about the local community. Everyone was so warm and welcoming, and very flexible when we had less than ideal travel constraints. They...

On my 2nd day at Rise Up, I realized why so many people come back....and why I was already planning a return trip in the near future. In no particular order: 1. Staff and Other Guests.. Everyone working there from Marcia to Jhia and Willow were straight up exceptional. Surf Instruction was the best I have ever received and Jhias's...

If you are looking for (1) a surf camp for all skill levels - from those who have never surfed to those who have surfed forever or (2) a vacation spot where your non surfing significant other can have as much fun, than this is the place. I have surfed for years but left my girlfriend at home thinking this...

We had a amazing time in this wonderful place. And of course a great surf! Food is the best you can get in nicaragua. Drinks as much as you want. Great yoga sessions every day. Boat trip and fishing was really fun. But finally the people made our trip unforgettable - thanks to Marcia, Milky, Cullam, Thia, Hugo, Hannah and...
