After some nights staying at several campingsites, we decided it would be nice to have a bit more comfort. We stayed just one night at the Gluckseeligkeit Herberge, but it we had a wonderful stay. It was just what we searched for: nice beds, room and shower. All was very clean and there was a main room which we didn't...

Super!!! A beautiful small guesthouse in a quiet location. We enjoyed our stay at this hostel, right in the middle of the old town, and walkable distance from the station (which we look for) and lake.

I enjoyed my stay at this hostel. Some of the pluses - good location, right in the middle of the old town, and walkable distance from the station (which I always look for) and lake. Close to restaurants, shops. As I stayed 4 nights, I enjoyed using the kitchen for breakfast and dinner. (check out My Muesli shop in Konstanz...

The host was a very friendly person. The house is very centrally located, it has a lot of food stores around. The rooms are cosy and the common area is quite comfortable. The house is perfect for a group of friends that want to spend some time together.

A beautiful small guesthouse in a quiet location in old town Konstanz. The nicely decorated house and rooms invite for a stay. Michael and his crew, always friendly and willing to help with suggestions and more. Renting the Ebikes allowed us to explore the Swiss side of Lake Constance all the way to Stein am Rhein and back. We highly...

As older adults we look for nice B & Bs to stay. We like the personal touch. If one agrees then don't go to the Glueckseeligkeit. We never saw the owner only a person that ran a shop downstairs. I guess I am tired of "B & Bs" in Europe where there is no one living at the home. It...

Dear Sir/Madam, I am sorry to hear about your dissatifaction while staying at the Herberge Glückseeligkeit. First off all I do like to apologise for the situation in the shower. We have instantely removed the mould and have solved the Problem through an air vent to reduce humidity in our bathroom. Nevertheless, we like to state that we are a...

Michael and his team looked after us with friendly warm smiles, good advice and an excellent service. The apartment was spacious, homely and clean with every thing you would need for even a long stay. The location, right in the pedestrian zone is perfect, all of the town and the lake front within walking distance. The office/shop and hostel are...

“We stayed in San Martino 1, the bigger apartment that occupies most of the 2nd floor of the building opposite the hostel. It is very calm with sizable rooms. The building is old and has been renovated to a high standard while leaving a lot of "old town" charm (wooden floor, exposed beams, etc). The flat has every thing you need (dishwasher, washer, dryer, guest WC, iron + ironing board, etc) plus a nice sunny balcony to relax on with a cold glass or Rothaus pils.”
