This braueri is located on one of the busiest streets in Bamberg. there are shops, cafes, all types of stores, hotels and this great bruaeri. The bier here is unique and delicious. My favorite is the Pilsner. The food here is very good also. Enjoy!

I had never been to Bamberg and the initial hotels I searched for rooms had no availability. I had some friends in USA who had been to Bamberg & were familiar with Fassla. They suggested that it might be an option. I am always willing to have a non-standard experience when travelling, so at 50 Euro per night for a...

The room was nicely updated and clean. Nicely priced. Not too much brewery charm left in the rooms as a result of the updates but for a short visit it was fine. The food, beer, and hospitality was amazing. Loved visiting Bamberg!!!

We stayed here one night. The room is basic (no soap) but comfortable and clean. The food was tasty and reasonably priced. Breakfast was very good and plenty of it. The staff were friendly. No wifi in the rooms. The location is ideal for exploring Bamberg and only a short walk to the train station.

Stop by Fassla for a beer, but we would not recommend staying here. Our room had no air conditioning and faces the street. It was very noisy and hot on the third floor. You do not want to carry a large suitcase up to your room! The parking is out back with the delivery trucks and hard to find. You...

Have visited and stayed at the Fassla over 30 years. Its rooms have improved tremendously since my first stay. However the friendly welcome has always stayed the same. If drinking beer at 8 in the morning is your thing look no further and join the locals on their way to work. Food is the usual German basic but plenty of...

First the Fassla is a Brewery, then a restaurant and beer hall and lastly a Gasthof. The room was comfortable and clean, but the mattresses were harder than my back was used to. We had a room right on the main drag and it was noisy up until around ten at night, then ok. The staff was helpful and friendly,...

If you are in Bamberg and you like beer (which of course you do, or you wouldn't be here!) then you must stay with Herr Kalb at the Fassla, where you can join the early morning workers enjoying a beer with their breakfast break at 9.00am or eat bratwurst in the bar. The rooms are spotlessly clean and this is...

We had the good luck to stay in a nice quiet room facing the Hof (Room #4 for 75 euros per night; breakfast included) and spent two delightful days in Bamberg. This room has a large balcony over the Hof. We dined twice in the restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed delicious regional specialties for very affordable prices. The in-house brewery makes...
