We really thought we were staying in Stratford within walking distance to the theatres. Should have checked the map more carefully. This modest motel is a good 12 minute drive from the nearest Stratford Theatre, which is not bad, but presents the parking problem once you get there. It was clean, the bed was small, as was the room. Bathroom...

Sure, this Inn doesn't have swipe cards, 46" flat-screen TVs, 17" deep mattresses, or $20 continental breakfasts consisting of four pieces of fruit and a muffin. But what it does have, it has in spades: an affordable, quaint, clean, genuine feel created by owners who do what they do not just for the money but for fun, because they like...

A bit dated motel with a B&B feel. More homey than the Holiday Inn and not far from Stratford at a better price. Just a basic continental breakfast but adequate. No real complaint but no rave either. If you're just sleeping there, it is fine.

Inn was a disappointment. Small room with uncomfortable furniture and old double bed with no amenities. Old crt television mounted on wall, high in the corner with lousy picture. Bathroom equally small so only with door closed could you move around. Small kitchenette across the hall that offered instant coffee with powdered creamer. We missed breakfast as it is only...

I have been staying at various hotels and B&Bs in Stratford for annual visits to the Festival for over 15 years and this was the worst -- go elsewhere! The Shakespeare Inn was a last minute choice and as we were checking in we realized why there was an opening during the busy Dragon Boat weekend. The front desk staff...

For Visitors to the world famous Shakespeare Festival in Stratford Ontario this is a most convenient and accommodating Inn. The hosts are delightful, very helpful and most pleasant in conversation. They also proved a generous and wholesome breakfast-- the muffins are fresh, warm and scrumptious. About 10 kms (6 miles) from Stratford, the inn/Motel is clean, relatively quiet and--if you...

The Hotel was nice, and the service was good. The beds were very soft and quite comfortable. After the housecleaning crew came through, however, the AC was broken, and could no longer function. The TV's where outdated in some of the rooms, and some of the beds weren't made after the cleaning staff had cleaned the rooms. Breakfast was delicious...

Overall a wonderfull stay. Wonderful breakfast and good distance out of the main town of Stratford. Good quiet hotel with "older" decor style and would recommend to those who need a "less expensive" stay in the area.

The hotel is very clean, the hosts are very friendly and charming. But for the money paid the rooms are very small and the beds are extremely uncomfortable. The TV's are very small, 12" I think, old school. I tried to make coffee in the "hot beverage" room, but the milk was sour and moldy, and the breakfast was a...

Our group has enjoyed annual visits to Stratford for many years and for the past 3 we've made the Shakespeare Inn our home away from home. Only a short drive to the theatres and shopping in Stratford and only a short stroll to visit the interesting antique stores, little tea room and small restaurants in the village. The halls and...
