I did not stay in their lodge but slept on the boat. Tour was fantastic. Boat and food terrific. Excellent guiding. Gero himself and his wife drove us around Manaus after the boat trip and then took us to the airport. We only ate certain fish and vegetables and fruit, and they bought all the food fresh and the cook...

We were for 3 weeks in Brazil and (unfortunately) only 3 days at the Ararinha Jungle Lodge. But our stay here really was the highlight in our whole trip!! We experienced pure adventure. The guides and the whole staff were extremely nice and funny. You get a lot of program for a low price. We liked that you can choose...

I stayed at the Ararinha Jungle Hotel as part of a 2 day/1 night package with Gero Tours. I can't say enough about how good the overall service and value was. First, however, be warned, this is not a luxury resort, but a rustic (for instance, there was no electricity the night I was there), jungle experience. The lodge itself...

I am writing another review just to respond to the management response to my earlier 2 star review. He accuses me of having an interest in another lodge inferring that this is why I gave the negative review and I see he does this all the time. Well it is just not the case and I stick to my review...

My experience with this place was amazing!!! Full of activities, great staff and the best of all was the owner, Geraldo... who makes you feel not only at home but like family. One thing he said to me... "if you are happy, I'm happy" During our down time, I exchanged many stories and jokes with him and his amazing staff....
