Family celebrations are not easy to organize. This hotel was very helpful. We spent a perfect weekend with very good food. The rooms are very clean. We could bring a dog and could use a very large rooms that allowed us to stay together with our dog and two kids. The hotel is on the outskirts and a good starting...

Ate here years ago and finally got back. Grilled specialities are sehr gut. I think it has moved up the hill but the Classic Schwarzwald decor is still there. And heisse himbeeren mit vanillen eis is still excellent. We petted all the dogs and felt homesick for our own.

30 years ago I visited this hotel and stayed in a small room at the top. This time, I stayed in a small suite at the top in the new building. Quite a change. This is an "old-style"German hotel. I found the people at the hotel nice. The rooms were clean but spartian. Were more like German hotels of the 70s. The breakfast was limited and boring. Also, many of the meats were fat laten. The parking, like many german hotels was an issue. Overall I would say it is OK to stay there but could be worth a...
