My husband and I stayed here for two nights and loved it. It is a cozy winter retreat with lots of charm and friendly staff. We asked for hiking recommendations, and they provided us a map and their suggestions. Our room was warm and spacious. The bed was comfortable and there were thoughtful additions to the room, like candles and...

Had a wonderful stay at this property. Little hard to find but well worth the effort. Staff made you feel at home (and the dogs). Rooms like a small suite, kitchenette and sitting area...mine had a balcony view of the mountains. Loved the fire place room. Food was spectacular. Wait staff were excellent. I would have liked to stay longer...

Cozy and immaculately kept rooms. Great breakfast. Great location at the foot of the mountains. We had a bit of a problem locating the hotel. But once we were there... we didn't want to leave. And it snowed (Nov) and it was like a fairyland! Would love to return in summer sometime....

My parents have been staying in the Schlossanger Alp for the past decade. They have been raving about the the scenery, the hospitality and the fantastic food ever since they first visited. Finally, my husband and I had the opportunity to experience it first hand over the last weekend - what a great place to stay! It's just plain wonderful......

We stayed here for 3 nights June 28-30 in Alpsuite # 11. It was a beautiful drive in through field, farm and forest, with this beautiful hotel at the end of the road. The hotel is situated in a scenic mountain meadow at the base of a small mountain, Falkenstein, where mad King Ludwig was to build his next fantasy...

We stayed one night in the tree house close to the hotel. From the tree house there is an excellent view on the rugged rocks of the Allgäuer Alps. The tree house is really impressive: very natural with no right angles, perfect view and really cozy. The house has a small recreation room with a table and two seat benches...

We came back to the Schlossanger Alp this winter. We stayed for one week. The suite we had was comfortably furnished and had amazing views of the snowy landscape and the Alps in the distance. I can't say enough about the wonderful atmosphere at this hotel. It doesn't even feel like a hotel, really - more like staying with family...

We spent 2 nights at the lodge in late August. This was my first trip to the Alps and I was pleasantly surprised how beautiful the area was. The hotel/lodge is situated at the edge of the town Pfronten, with plenty of parking space, surrounded by rolling hills and with a view of the Alps and the castle ruin of...

We arrived and were immediately greeted by the owners in a manner resembling those incredible visits to my grandmother's large house in my youth. Upon entry in the late afternoon, we were surrounded by the redolence of a sumptuous feast, which we later learned was the usual evening fare, which to us was unusual in the number of rich offerings...

We spent our wedding week here in the summer of 2008, after having dinner here in 2005 (it left quite the impression). We returned last week (2012) and were as pleased as ever with our experience. This is a family owned and run (several generations) hotel of the Schlachter-Ebert family. I cannot say enough about the location, the friendliness of...
