Stayed one night so we could see Barlach's Angel in the cathedral. Convenient free parking right outside the door, friendly and helpful reception staff who spoke good English and allowed us to access our room early. Five minute walk to town. The room itself was clean, pleasant and functional. Not large but perfectly adequate. We ate in the hotel and... More

We were looking for nothing more than somewhere to break a long drive and this place sounded perfect - and it was. Apparently an old Hospital the place does have a functional appearance. Staff very friendly, everyone had perfect English and check in was efficient. the room was actualy better than the picture on the boking website - nothing overly... More

This is listed as a three star hotel and it is. It is neither plain nor elegant. If you want a clean, safe reasonably price place to stay than I would recommend. The breakfast is not much to write home about but it will take care of the need.

It's a nice place to stay even if we still had the feeling of the former hospital because of the very long corridors and the huge amount of rooms. Inside the rooms it's clean and functional. The staff was very friendly and breakfast with direct castle-view was great.

Gaestehaus am Schloßpark is a rebuild hospital which is reflected in the rather high doors and ceilings. In general single rooms are rather small but have everything you may need. Large flat TV screen, good stowage, shower with hairdryer. There are a lot of roomy doublerooms as well, some of them having a small kitchen with fridge. There is fast... More

This is the second time I've stayed at this property. Both times I have come by bike and it's really a perfect "bett und bike" place. This time around we stayed inb one of the "comfort rooms" that came with skylights and a built in bedside music box - both were nice ammenities but for cyclists a good parking garage... More

This is a large guesthouse, that quite possiblely was an old barrack block, but dont let this put you off. It overlooks the castle in Gustrow which is nice if you have a window facing that way. The breakfast was simple but of a good quality. The bad points are the lack of decent parking, there is some but not... More
